My friends girlfriend and him had unprotected sex, he said she wanted it that way and she agreed that if anything happened she'd take the morning after pill, but now she's not going to.

this is completely unfair for my friend here, because even though she gets the choice not to take it, shes essentially messing up his life to, and it seems he's completely helpless in this situation.

any ideas on what he can do? i have no clue what to tell the poor man.

Why do we have to try to prove ourselves to one another? why cant we agree to disagree and stop insulting one another? if you believe the other persons beliefs are ignorant, why cant you let them be ignorant alone?

If nobody sinned anymore, would jesus have died for no reason?

God used to part oceans, destroy towers, turn water to wine, waalk on water, make plagues all sorts of stuff but he wont now, why?

do not answer saying miricles happen everywhere, i understand that, but seas arnt parting everywhere, what i mean is he wont do anything to prove himself anymore

this is actually one of the big reasons i dont believe in god

i also understand that he requires faith and everything but while we were looking for osama why didnt he destroy the compound?

or why didnt he cause plagues upon hitler, who was much worse than the egyptian pharo

hopefully every christian knows this verse, now in here, jesus states that gods will is done in heaven, this would mean angels do not have free will. now another verse

this is an example of an angel showing free will.

so how could they have revolted, when in heaven gods will is done? surely gods will was not for satan to overthrow him.

Whenever shes mad at me she wont talk to me, when i ask she lies and says shes not, when i try to find out why im getting the silent treatment, she jumps me for calling her a liar and makes me feel like ****, when she is lying. My fiancee is blind and recently has become pregnant, we are intent on keeping the child but im worried what effects may occur growing up with a blind mother. Also im worried about the emotional effect on her as well. Please help

is it the beating of a heart, or the ability to decide for ones self? is it the billions of unique cells, and strands of DNA, or is it the ability to process knowledge, to think and reason and use our free will?

I believe the latter, what makes us alive and gives us purpose is our cognitive abilities, the complex patterns within our minds that let us reason. that's what makes a human. If it wasn't, brain dead patients could be kept "alive" indefinitely with machines too keep their hearts beating, but this does not, in my own humble opinion qualify as life.

For me personally, I lost both parents at a young age, i was always sick, and I ended up being seperated from my remaining family, i remember crying every night, then one day i layed in my bed, smiled and thought, "im ok" i was wondering if anyone else, out of no where, whether it be religious or not, if you found peace, just out of no where.

what are the requirements and parameters to life, not physically but mentally and emotionally. What sets us apart from machines and animals? What makes our lives so much more important? what makes us human?

If i may, please refrain from posting religious allusions.
