I have the opportunity to purchase a macbook pro. I have been looking around for second hand and refurbished units as I dont want to have to bow down to the extortionate prices of a new apple product. I am, however stuck trying to make a decision between the 13" model and the 15" model, it is actually my father that will be purchasing the laptop and I dont want to feel guilty for getting my father to spend so much money on me. I do alot of graphics work sot eh better graphics card in the 15" model would lend itself well to what I would use the laptop for. I would also play some games on the macbook and I was wondering if the graphics card in the 13" model would be good enough for games like "Deus ex". any advice would be greatly appreciated

is it illegal to remove the watermark from an image? if so then what legal implications could this incur?

Im having trouble completing homework and hitting deadlines. The biggest issue is my parents, I can be completely motivated and ready to do work until one of them mentions it or tells me to do work. at that point any motivation I had is lost and I no longer feel like doing work. I find it hard to motivate myself as it is and to be honest Im quite lazy but when i feel like doing work I can do it easily and efficiently. I just need help getting and staying motivated.

Hi, im 17 years old and I'm currently doing my AS levels at college. Im not particularly good at any of my chosen subjects and have in fact already dropped one of them. I realised recently that anything I am truly good at is useless, Im normally very optimistic and high spirited but this revelation has really hit me hard.

Im not particularly academic and never have been. Ever since I remember I have hated school and always had other things I would rather do instead of homework etc. Anyway, back to the main point, anything I'm good at is useless, I can draw... ish and I'm extremely good at video games in particular fps and rhythm games but thats it, I don't have any other talents, I have nothing i am good at that will actually help me in the future. I don't really know what question to ask but a little help or guidance would be nice. just some reassurance that everything will work out.

I have a small problem, after the installation of autodesk sketbook pro it asked me to restart, which is a completely normal part of the installation. however, when it restarted my first generation mac pro booted in the utilities and HD recovery partition. this isnt the first time this has happened but last time i was not installing any software. fortunately I have a time machine backup and it is restoring now. Any idea what might be wrong? how can i tedt to see if there is anything wrong? I recently used tech tool pro 6 to check my computer was functioning correctly and it passed the tests easily S.M.A.R.T, file structures etc how can i fix this?

simple question. i have a first generation mac pro and was wondering about its graphics card compatibility. I currently have ATI Radeon HD 4870 512 MB card installed and I am looking to upgrade, what are my options?

I'v been thinking recently and i have come to the conclusion that freedom is in fact, unattainable. In the modern world I feel more and more confined. it seems to me that it doesn't matter what you do, there is always someone else telling you what you have to do. politicians and world leaders seem to deploy the word "freedom" cheaply in an attempt to fool people into believing that we are actually "free" when i believe we are not. this is only my opinion but i want to hear yours. i ask because this "fact", as i so put it, gets me down and makes me feel somewhat upset. maybe someone else's opinion can convince me otherwise and make me feel better about the subject and give myself a better view of my future (I'm only 17) so, what is your opinion?

Ok, Im a 17 year old male and I am in no way overweight. the reason i am asking is because I'm going on an expedition to honduras in june, as a part of this expedition we will sometimes be hiking 3-5 hours but mostly about a hour a day so i need to get fit for that, we will also be spending the second week on the beach and therefore it would be nice to be a little toned. I have had no experience coming up with a workout or diet plan and was wondering if anyone could recommend one? like I say I'm 17 years old, about 6foot 2 and weigh about 11 stone, I'm quite athletic but I'm not particularly fit so if someone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

the screen on my laptop has broken, its an acer aspire one ZA3. my question is simple do i have to replace the screen with an 11.6 inch screen? i happen to have a spare 10.1 inch screen that i could use, is it possible for me to use this? it wouldn't be a difficult case mod to get it to fit I'm just unsure if i can use it.

I am posing this question from a very basic understanding of Christianity and its inner workings, so correct me if I am wrong. Satan is Gods enemy, right? and is fighting against him? so surely the devil would reward anyone who apposes God? all this based on the assumption that there is a God for the sake of argument.

Im am currently studying my A-levels and have obviously heard a lot about degrees being very valuable but i cant help but think that they are not. The course that you study now will not be the course that someone wills study in say three years and therefore the knowledge you gained at university is useless to an employer. so you can get a degree, go and work but then three years down the line someone else will take your job because they have more up to date knowledge than you do.

is this the case or am I just not seeing the big picture?

how do you know that your religion is true when it has never provided any form of credible evidence?

im not attacking your beliefs but i just cant understand how you can believe something you were just told and were never given evidence for. its like me telling you i'm 10ft tall, green and glow in the dark and you just believing it without asking for proof.

Im just having trouble understanding this concept, can someone explain why people do this?

if one person were religious and claimed there is a magic sky man, we would think he's crazy, but when a lot of people say this we accept it so openly, why?

Ok, so iv been feeling really upset recently and i need advice more than answers. I never really get upset and i am very much an optimist but recently something is different and i cant cope, because I dont feel this way often (if ever) i dont know how to express these feelings. I think the root of my feelings stems from school and the realisation that you only get one life and that im too fun loving and care free to want to spend that life working.

I have just started my A levels and the work load is really bringing me down i cant cope and i am extremely stressed, this isn't helped by the fact im getting no higher than E's in any tests for any subjects, Despite me working tirelessly at home and not seeing my friends for weeks.I'm struggling to motivate myself to do anything, i feel like im just going to break down whenever i hear we have more homework to do. I mentioned before that i am quite an optimist but i cant find anything good that may come of this. so im gonna leave school with some qualifications and get a job so i can work for the rest of my life just waiting for the weekends, i dont want that life and i feel useless, physically and emotionally drained.

i dont know what i want to hear as an answer but i could sure use some inspiration or motivation.

ok so i asked this question a few minuets ago and im still a little confused. I understand the bible does talk about dinosaurs and that you can believe God and accept dinosaurs but does the bible insinuate that Humans and dinosaurs co-existed?

I heard someone claim that christians are against stem cell research and i was wondering (if this is true) why?

if you believe God put everything here then surly he would want us to use everything to its full potential, wouldn't he? from my point of view and assuming there is a god for the sake of this question, God doesn't do anything for man kind. The only good things that have ever happened have been because of the intelligence of the human species (define "good thing" for yourself because it is subjective)
