Does the judgment call of Obama also extend to his church's comparison of the Hamas Manifesto to...?
the US Declaration of Independence? How does the document calling for the distruction of Israel and the killing of Jews be seen as anything near our founding document? Is this another judement call for Obama or will the press bury it.
5 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoDoes this leaking of names for Cabinet posts hurt Obama or not? Does anyone believe the statements?
Leaking just Republicans is a shot to try to gather last minute votes who are on the fence, the two most important posts in the Cabinet will not go to Republicans no matter what he says now. If he really wants to talk about the Cabinet why not name all the candidates for the main posts and his VP choice. To me its like measuring the drapes in the Oval Office long before the fat lady sings.

Does Jon Stewart just bore people or is the whole red carpet scene now seem irrelevant to people?
18 AnswersMovies1 decade agoIf Obama was a state, he would be California? Come on Maria how lame of statement? What if he was a tree?
Is Maria Shriver stuck in the 60's with this comparison of Obama to a state? And plus what do you think of her husband ARNOLD backing McCain? Is that just freedom of speech in the family or is Arnold just endorsing a candidate to keep his wolf in sheep's clothing (A democrat with a Republican label and no more)?

Her executive experience and heartland appeal giving Obama more traction in the general election
14 AnswersElections1 decade agoDo you see this as a race to the convention with 2 candidates on both sides?
Or do you think that the Republican and Democratic candidates will be chosen on Super Tuesday. Will Edwards endorsement of Obama (rumored) and Rudy supporting McCain be a minor blip or a major momentum builder for the respective candidates?
2 AnswersElections1 decade agoDoes knowing an official at the OSU - Illinois football game is under investigation change your view?
The official has numerous issues pending including the fact that he has debt to two casinos. Did the very questionable call early in the game now make you suspicious that OSU could have won the game and thus go into the National Championship with no losses. Is gambling becoming a bigger problem in sports (ie: Florida State, etc) for college sports and its championships
12 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoWas Neil Diamond a pervert for writing the song "Sweet Caroline" after viewing a picture of Caroline Kennedy?
As a child? He recently admitted he saw a picture of a young Caroline Kennedy and came up with his big hit. Isn't it creepy for an older Diamond to be looking at a picture of a little girl (Caroline Kennedy) and thinking of love with her?
5 AnswersOther - News & Events1 decade agoDoes the awarding of Russia's highest civilian honor to a former US citizen and Soviet spy show the real fact
that Russia is still ingrained in the Cold War era? Putin a former KGBer gives the Hero of the Rusian Federation award to Dr. George Koval a Soviet spy who when in the US ingrained himself in the Mahattan Project. Koval's spying helped the USSR develop a atom bomb quicker than any other nuclear nation thanks to data taken from the Mahattan Project. Another example of Putin wanting to reopen the cold war era.

1 AnswerMilitary1 decade agoWhat are the thoughts of baseball fans of the hiring of Dusty Baker for manager?
Do you think this will make a difference for Cincinnati who has a decade of bad seasons behind it. Did Giants fans or Cubs fans find Baker a quality manager?
10 AnswersBaseball1 decade agoIs Putin lining up a new "Warsaw Pact" with his defense of Iran?
The biggest problem in the election of Putin is his KGB ties and the others from the KGB he brought into his administration. Its almost as if they are running a "covert" USSR with desires of superpower status again. That is one mistake I will acknowledge President Bush made early in his tenure is saying he could trust Russia and Putin. They are putting their paws over the Middle East and will probably help blow up the Palestinian state plans as a way of keeping the hostilities hot for them to have allies there.

I am not saying you need to be religious and take on my faith but I use my faith in God that He was there to create all that we live on and we see.
30 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoHey this this just in from England Al Gore's film is political indoctrination!!!?
The High Court in England ruled in a case stating that the film before being presented in England's schools must be preceded with guidance so as not to politically indoctrinate students and given them an unbalanced view. The case's main tenants were serious scientific inaccuracies, political propaganda and sentimental mush. So do we need to view the docu drama by the same scenario especially with our children to not indoctrinate them. Isn't that what the Soviet Union, China and other communist countries do to their children everyday. So the supporters of AL's Oscar winning film got it wrong?? Or did we always know AL wanted to create political imbalances.
4 AnswersCivic Participation1 decade agoIs Wisconsin the next top ranked team to go down to defeat?
Illini are beating them in the second half 24-13. This seems to be the year of some major upsets and maybe a surprise winner of the BCS championship game.
8 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoIs reporter Joe Klein showing his far left liberal stripes by saying we should not fear Ahmadinjad?
He says the build up to comparing the Iranian leader to Hitler and Stalin is too much Klein says. Well with the "Jeannie out of the bottle" in the form of nuclear weapons since 1945 the smallest nation in the world with money and resources to build a bomb can challenge the biggest nations in the world. Thus Chavez, Ahmadinjad, Kim Jong II, etc are a danger to us all and reporters like Klein show that they want us to live in a dream world where singing Kumbia around the UN campfire will solve all the world's problems.
3 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoDid I hear it right a Dallas School district has banned hugging and holding hand?
They did it the principal said to ensure no sexual harasment. I never thought when I had to hold hands with a girl back in kindergarten that one of us was being sexually harrassed. Or that when you hug someone after not seeing them over the summer would lead to charges. Does anyone know more on this or which area school it was?
6 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoWhen will ND fans start calling for Charlie Weis' scalp for these losses? And their talented QB went to UC!!!
Charlie Weis might be an expert in building offenses and QBs but they have not been a top 20 team for years and this year they show no sense of getting back to it. It will really show if they lose to their traditional easy service academy trio. I heard from a parent of a recruited player a few years ago that ND did not have any where near the modern facilities for their athletic recruits to get in shape, practice and play in as other top flight programs like USC, LSU, Texas and Ohio State.thus the athletes they used to thrivve on really go elsewhere.
2 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoHow about the Browns or have we seen the end of the Raven dominance? Ravens have already lost to Cincy to!!!?
The Ravens loses to Cleveland and Cincinnati teams put them 0-2 in their race for the division title. Pittsburgh was also defeated on Sunday (outside the division). Is this an off year for the AFC North or will we see a surprise team coming out of it like the Bengals or Browns.
12 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoWho is the next team in the Top 5 of college football to taste defeat?
The college football world saw a number of upsets this week in the Top 20 and the top 5 saw a lot of movement. Who next will move out and do the top 2 have a chance to end the season undefeated and meet in the BCS Championship. I think one or both will be out of the top 2 long before November.
