  • Can anyone recommend an iPhone 6 case that allows you to plug in Beats by Dre headphones?

The base around the plug of beats by Dre is a lot fatter than standard headphones. I can't find a case that has a screen protector, and a clip AND also fits the headphones without having to use an adapter or cut out the hole. I've been searching high and low. Has anyone else had this problem and found a product that works?

Please no guesses or sarcastic remarks, only true certain responses please. Thank you

  • bought tempur pedic because it had high ratings?

We are on our 3rd Tempur Pedic in 2 years. Two of which are warranty exchanges due to collapsing foam. We call it the torture Pedic. I am an athletic woman weighing 150 pounds (average size 6 clothing). My husband is a heavier person pushing 300. His side always collapses and after changing sides, my side will also collapse so we are both walking around with horrible back aches. We are in the process of yet another warranty claim. But why? The same thing is going to happen again. Memory foam was rated the highest for heavier people which makes zero sense to me. Has anyone else dealt with this and found the perfect mattress to switch to? Everything I read on ratings and studies contradict our real life experience. I need to find a mattress that supports my husband's size (though he is heavy he is not visually fat. He is just a large man all around) and is also comfortable to me.

  • I sold an item on E-Bay and the USPS can not locate the address for delivery?

I am concerned if this will become a problem for me. I was paid, and shipped to the address they provided. They also confirmed the shipping address when they paid me on PayPal. I shipped it and have been following it through tracking. It shows undelivered (should have been delivered 5 days ago) and that it can be picked up. I have tried to contact the buyer with no response. I'm concerned about how I should handle this. E-Bay doesn't have any "Contact us" help support for this type of issue. Has anyone else ever experienced this? And if so, how did it play out?

  • Can my room mate renew our lease and remove me from it?

I have a room mate that I've lived with for a couple of years now. We are starting to be in the dreaded situation that often happens when friends live together, not getting along! Our lease is almost up. I am the primary on the lease. I added her to it after she moved in with me, She has it in her head that when our lease is up, she is going to renew it with the landlord and remove my name in attempt to force me to move out. I would prefer to find a new room mate and HER be the one to move. My question is, can she legally go around me to the landlord and take my name off the lease and force me to move? Can I do that to her? Are we stuck living together? This is a NICE house and I have no desire to move. My initial thoughts are that she can not do this. BUT, I just want to have my ducks in a row and be prepared to handle this situation lawfully, once faced with it. She is a malicious person. I need advise. Real advise from people who understand the laws. The comments from those who truly don't know and just want points, please don't respond.

  • My Landlord sent workers to my home and they messed up my personal property?

He gave me the workers numbers and they don't reply to me. I since have moved. When I moved, my landlord deducted from my deposit for damages that existed before I moved in. I had logged these things on my move in form. However he never mailed me back a signed copy. I only have a copy of what I originally sent him, and thankfully I had marked it with the date I mailed it back to him and made a copy of the envelope and rent check that I sent it to him with.

My question is, can I go after him to recoup the costs for my property that his workers destroyed? Since he hired them to enter my house, is HE liable? Or do I have to pursue the company that did the damage? Normally, I'd count my losses and move on. However, this man was a slight step above a slum lord and I made improvements to his house while it was my home. So I am very angry that he is trying to take money from me for his previous tenants damages and I want to somehow get that back.

I am not looking for any one's opinions. I am looking for answers from someone that works in or with lawyers that can offer me guidance and the legalities of this situation. Thank You

  • Just received a mandatory dress code change?

I've been at my place of employment for over 6 years. I am in sales and I dress accordingly. I want to start by saying I do wear suits and dresses and everything from business casual (Dockers and polos) to full on dress suits. I NEVER wear jeans to work, wear my hair in a pony tail, or wear any kind of "gym" attire. However, they just sent out a dress code stating that women must wear nylons, no skirts over their knees, and absolulely no cleavage showing. This only applies to me because I will NEVER wear nylons unless I am going to a funeral or a wedding or something. I have a nice figure, I work out hard and I don't need the support of nylons. I also have large breasts, and feel it is discrimination to say I can't wear a nice blouse because my cleavage shows... What, but the flat chested girls can wear those? Why? Let me just be clear that I do NOT dress revealing at work. However, I have a hard time being told I must wear nylons, and long skirts. I feel this is something that must be in place in your hiring packet. And if they want everyone to suddenly change what has been acceptable all along, then they should issue a uniform budget so we can shop.

Does anyone know if this is legal? Do I have to sign this form?

  • Is it possible to add contacts to your iphone when you receive texts from people?

I just got an iphone and I can't figure out how to add contacts when you receive a text from someone. With my Blackberry you just clicked "add to contacts" but I can't find anything in my options to allow for that on the iphone. Do I have to write the number down and manually add them? Or is there something I'm missing to add as i receive?

  • Songs that used to play fine on my iPOD have started skipping, like a scratched CD?

I have several songs that used to play perfectly fine on my iPOD and now skip as those I was playing a scratched CD. Why would they suddenly start skipping and other songs are perfectly fine? Is there a way to correct this without reloading them?

  • How can you block an address from e-mailing you?

I have someone to always e-mails me even though I've asked this person to stop. I've blocked her, but her e-mails still go to my junk folder. Is there anyway to completely block them so their messages can't reach me at all?

  • I'm trying to find a loan for a used vehicle?

I'm trying to purchase a used Hummer H1. It is a 1995 and it's hard to find anyone that will finance on a vehicle that old. The H1 is in awesome shape and as a diesel, it doesn't have the same maintenance issues that gasoline cars have. Does anyone know of any finance firms that will make car loans on older vehicles? It's hard in this economy to find a loan. Thanks for your help.

  • if you apply for a vehicle loan does it effect your spouses credit report?

I am currently separated from my husband. I am thinking about buying a new car. I'm not sure if that will effect his credit as well. I do not want to put anything on his report.

  • What are the eviction laws in California for evicting a room mate?

I've been reading up and only see laws pertaining to the eviction of people who occupy the entire home. I even called the Police Department to ask what I can safely do to evict her, but they will not say. I have a room mate who has broken every agreement in our lease multiple times. She has short paid the rent, and continues to do other things in breach of our arrangement.

I have served her with a written Pay or Quit notice. However, when the day comes that I have given her to pay, if she has not paid can I:

Change the Locks and stop her from entering, holding her personal items until money is collected?

Change the locks and place her things in the drive way?

I'm really concerned about doing what is legal so that I have solid backing if this ends up in court. It's very hard not to physically throw her out right now, as I am so disgusted I can hardly stand to look at her.

I can't find what the law outlines for evicting someone from a shared home. Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

(little more feedback on her actions: she eats my food, uses my toiletries/laundry detergent, has males spend the night and LOUDLY participates in sexual activity waking my sleeping children on multiple occassions, doesn't clean up behind herself, hasn't helped clean shower, hasn't replaced anything she has used, hasn't washed dishes behind herself, has had parties with drug use. It is completley unacceptable and I want to get her away from my kids immediately. I'm really torn on how to handle this without getting myself arrested)

  • Can the state assess you twice for the same tax year?

I had been assessed for 05, 06, and 07. Owed a substantial amount of taxes which I finally paid off. Then the other day I got another notice from the state which says they propose an additional assessment for 06 and feel I owe an additional $4,000. I can't shake them. I finally got back on track and filed everything accurately and have been working very hard to pay them off. Now yet another notice. Is this legal?

  • my cousin has a mental illness but I'm not exactly sure what it is...?

We recently reunited with family that we hadn't seen in many years. My mom's cousin has something odd about him mentally, but we can't figure it out. I'd love to learn what it is so I can educate myself on it. But they are not the kind of people that you can just ask.

So this guy is very sweet, yet in an uneasy kind of way. He seems very intelligent, yet extremely slow. I used to watch autistic children and have been around many down syndrome children in my life and am sure this is not the case with him.

His eyes are different, almost like a mongloid of sorts. He is quite a bit shorter than the other men in the family. He is not allowed to drive, yet we're not sure why. But he loves to tell stories about his car (that he doesn't have) and his frequent road trips where he is searching within himself... that he doesn't really go on. He loves to talk to everyone and gets a bit too close in others personal space. He likes to be the center of attention and talk about anything he wants to talk about, but when he's done talking, he is very quick to end the conversation and walk away. If you try to end it before he is done, he gets very aggitated and will follow you to finish whatever he wanted to say.

I'm not sure if I'm describing this right or not. He is very observant, and to himself until he decides there is something he thinks he'd like to say and then watch out... It's like an off balanced, over whelming weird.

I wish I could find a better way to explain this so that it makes better sense and doesn't make me sound so mean. I'm nto trying to sound mean. I'm really trying to figure out what his disorder may possibly be so I can read more about it and see if that's what it is. If I could play a tape of him, you'd see that he definitely has some kind of mental disorder. Is it possible to be emotionally retarded? I don't know what else to call it!

Anyway, if this fits anything you've come across, I'd love to hear what it is... Thanks for your help and for understanding that I'm not trying to be mean, I'm trying to educate myself on a condition I've never experienced before!

  • I'm looking for a place where my kids can take music lessons...?

My 9 year old is dying to learn to play guitar. I've set some "earn it" challenges in place for him which he has nearly accomplished. Now I'm searching for a place for him to take lessons, but everything that comes up on searches are in school settings and pretty expensive. Are there any places or people in the Newark/Fremont/Union City (CA) area that teach for side cash as a hobby and not so much like a formal school setting and expensive tuitions? I'm looking for guitar and possibly piano as well. Thanks so much!

  • If you file for an Offer in Compromise and submit your 20% payment...?

... and your offer is rejected, do they apply the 20% payment to your debt? The forms all say you forfeit the fee and payment. I can't see how they would just keep the payment and not apply it to your debt. I understand the processing fee being with held, but not the payment.

Also, if you had not filed a 1099 with your taxes, but they have already contacted you about that, so you still have to file it or is it already filed once they send you the "additional tax due" statement?

I'm trying to find the most efficient way to handle this and do not want to make any mistakes that will make this process be declined. It's bad enough that my husband didn't provide me with the 1099's and I didn't know that income existed until the wonderful letters arrived! Yay for me!!! (NOT)

Thank you for your advise and help!

  • I'm looking for a new digital camera with 12.1 mega pixels, why...?

...do they range so extremely in price. I found some for $200 and others for $2,000. Are the $200 going to produce decent images? This will be used both for professional and recreational photos. (Some picture I will take at job sites for work), others will just be for my family trips, etc. I don't really have $2,000 in my budget, but also don't want a $200 one that will die in a year either! Any suggestions?
