My router's capability is lan1, lan2, lan3 and lan4 also wlan1... wlan4.

I want to allocate my lan3 port a fixed IP address 192.168.1.3

Means any packet coming into the router with IP 192.168.1.3 should be given to lan3

How can I do this?

I have 2 PCs connected to my modem

PC_1 : 192.168.1.33

PC_2 : 192.168.1.34 (local IPs)

My modem IP address is 55.117.128.101

Data packet is sent from the ISP 55.117.128.1 to my modem

ISP does not know the local IPs.

How a packet is correctly routed to PC_1 and PC_2

We know that TCP/IP protocol stack has 4 layers,

Can anyone tell me where it is inside modem or pc

For example, the application layer can be http or ftp so browser can handle http

Physical layer can be ethernet

Ok where are the other two layers implemented.

From the rate at which universe is expanding, bigbang says before 13.7 billion years there was no space or time existed. But how can there be no space. Space is some thing infinite. If there is no space it itself implies that something else occupying that space. In my point of view our universe is now expanding, but after some point of saturation, it will begin to collapse and again expand as a never ending process. You can't say all started 13.7 billion years ago. I mean to say this never ending process has no beginning.

I am very much interested in doing final year projects for btech micro controllers,vlsi and signal processing. But many suggest me that it is not a good career. As I can't earn better and earn only 10k per month average. And sometimes no project request may come for nearly 5months in non project semesters. So they ask me to choose an mnc. It is my favourite career vs settled life...
