  • Trying to find the name of the song and/or singer. A younger girl 12-14 who sounds older and sings about heartbreak.?

She's older now, this was a few years ago. I think she got discovered on youtube, but is pretty famous (outside of just youtube). She sings a song about heartbreak. She might be british, I don't know. There's a lot of soul in her voice. She sounds older than she is. She has brunette hair. I know this is vague, but any help is appreciated.

  • What are your thoughts on this Idea for the NFL & 'Hard Knocks'?

Teams don't want to appear on 'Hard Knocks', because they feel it's a distraction and releases too much inside information about their team. Which I totally understand. What I think should be done to counteract this imbalance and possibly interest more teams into volunteering for the show is simply, incentivising them to appear by offering up compensatory draft picks.

Start off by offering a 7th round draft pick to the team that appears on 'Hard Knock', than decide out of all of the volunteered teams which one should appear on the show. If no teams, volunteers for the 7th round offer, then move onto a 6th round pick, so on and so forth. Eventually you'll see more and more teams volunteering to be on the show.... Just a thought.

What are your guy's opinions on this and does anyone have any other ideas or comments about the show?

  • Which QB should I choose off waivers?

My fantasy football league changed the time of the draft last minute, so I got stuck with Russell Wilson and Eli Manning. I don't mind Wilson (I think he'll be solid this season and has upside), but I'm really not like Eli this year. Who should I pickup to replace Eli?

Most of these choices aren't great, but here they are.

    Jake Locker (Ten)

    EJ Manuel (Buf)

    Chad Henne (Jax)

    Matt Cassel (Min)

    Ryan Fitzpatrick (Hou)

    Bryan Hoyer (Cle)

    Austin Davis (St.L)

or should I just roll with one QB and pickup a player at different position since my choices are weaker?

  • Should I pick up Tony Romo from waivers?

Someone in my league dropped Tony Romo. I have Jay Cutler and Russel Wilson at QB already. Should I drop one of them for Tony? If I were to drop someone it would be Wilson, but having two QBs that are injury risks worry me.

Plus I think Wilson could be in for a career year and is a QB that has finished in the top 10 of fantasy QBs for the last two years. What do you guys think I should do?

  • Tavon Austin or John Brown?

Who do you feel has more upside and is a better flier? I don't need either one to start right now, this is only a question of bench depth. I was just wondering if I should drop John Brown for Tavon Austin or stay pat.

  • Need help remembering the name of a hostess snack cake?

When I was a teenager in 2006 I used to eat these hostess snack cakes from the convenient store all the time and now I can't remember the name of them. Any help would be appreciated. They came 3 in a package (the individual packages) and were round. They had a yellow/white color with what appeared to be very small specks of pink in it, with a white cream filling. They didn't have any icing on top of them. They were one of my favorite snack cakes and I was wondering if anyone else remembers them.

  • Does anyone know where I can find a video of "Peg O' My Heart" by a young Osmond?

There used to be a video on youtube by one of the Osmond brothers singing the song "Peg O' My Heart". The singer couldn't have been older than 8 at the time and half the song was in japanese. Does anyone know the Osmond I'm talking about or have a link to the song?

  • Why didn't the Chiefs play the Rams last year?

Why didn't the Chiefs and Rams play last year? They usually play every season, be it pre-season or regular in a game known as the "Govener's Cup". Why didn't they play each other last season?

  • Should CM Punk have ended the streak?

CM Punk had the longest title reign in the last 20 years and it wasn't until late in his title reign that they started to book him a little bit better. What they should've done at the time was have him beat the Rock at Royal Rumble and have Undertaker win the Royal Rumble (Rock vs. Cena II would still have been a big deal. You could have even had Cena play shenanigans in the match to further set-up the rematch). This would have made CM Punk even more of a big deal, than they could've set-up WM with a streak vs. Streak match. This would have made their match even more unpredictable and more hyped. Then at the end have CM Punk beat Undertaker in the main event.

CM Punk would have been the fresh face of the company and would finally have the backing of the WWE behind him. It would have been great. Plus it would have also made a star out of whomever finally beat him for the belt... thoughts, comments, suggestions, or venting?

  • Why isn't Jared Allen getting more flack for his actions this off-season?

Jared Allen has been saying that if he doesn't get as much money as he wants he'll retire. Let me just start out by saying, that this is probably just a negotiating tactic for him to gain more money and if that's the case, I don't have a problem with it, because 'hey do what you gotta do', but if he's serious I think he deserves a lot of flack for this statement.

I mean here's a guy openly saying basically, that he's not playing for the love of the game, for a chance to win, for loyalty, for any of those reasons, but playing purely for financial gain. It doesn't sound very passionate, which is strange, because on the field Jared Allen plays with a higher motor and more heart, than just about anyone. So what are your thoughts on this?

  • Need help remembering an alternative song from 2002 that had a music video featuring puppets?

I used to watch all things rock on MTV and I remember this song that had muppet like creatures in it (it may have been the muppets, but It didn't have the popular ones like piggie or Kermit). I don't even think the song made the countdown. It was just an honerable mention I believe. Also before you say "Keep Fishin'" by Weezer, that's not it. Although both videos were out at the same time. If anyone has any info, that would be cool. All suggestions are welcome.

  • Please help me remember the name of a song?

The song came out within the last decade and is sung along at sporting games (I've seen it at Hockey games personally). I don't remember the lyrics, but it's the scat for lack of a better word that everyone sings a long to. It goes something like duh-da-dut, duh-da-dut, duhda dada dada dut. It was sort of a rock-pop song. I know this is vague, but any suggestions are appreciated.

  • What about Mark Sanchez to the Bengals?

I haven't seen this suggested yet, but I don't see why not. He has a higher ceiling than Dalton and much more success in the playoffs. Plus he has never been surrounded by as much talent as the Bengals have. I think Dalton and Sanchez would make for great competition and would help bring the best out of each other. What do you guys think? Pros and cons?

  • Any suggestions on a good fiction book to read?

I just finished "Thumbsucker" by Walter Kirn. I really enjoyed this book. I usually enjoy books that tend to be more realistic, like coming of age tales and the Jack Reacher series. I don't mind books that are sc-fi, but to me they have to at least be plausible. For instance "The Midwhich Cuckoos" is a book I enjoy, because the idea of aliens taking over a town is something I can suspend disbelief for. It's theoretically plausible. The idea of elves or wizards roaming around isn't something I tend to go for on the other hand.

I also enjoy books that are classics, like "Of, Mice and Men", "Great Expectations", and "Lord of the Flies". I really enjoy a lot of non-fiction as well. Particularly books/biographies about sports, wrestlers, or politicians. So with all this info in mind, what book would you suggest for me to read?

Also just figured I'd let everyone know, I'm a 24 year old male, if that makes a difference in your suggestions.
