Hi everyone! Okay so I am choosing my courses for September and I was wondering if all you psyc majors could help me out. I'm going to list all the possible options for the entire year, and I have to choose 5 of the ones listed. Maybe tell me why you choose that course, what you liked about it. If you took a course on this list that you did not like, let me know as well! And list why.

I am currently in my second year of my undergraduate degree, BA in political science. I want to get into public relations as my career. So here are my two options:

1. Upon graduating, I can attend my local community college and take the "Public Relations" post-graduate diploma program.

OR

2. Upon completion of my degree, I can move out of town and get my master's degree in Communications.

I know a Master's degree looks more prestigious and professional than a post-graduate diploma but I an unsure if it is worth moving to another city for, but keep in mind I am also willing to do what is best for my career, but I want to know what is neccessary/what is better. I live in Ontario, Canada and I am 21 years old.

There is a heated debate going on in my speech class about whether or not women should play on men's sports teams. Help me out and give me a few pointers on your opinion!

My dog is a thirteen year old Lhasa Apso, so she is very small. Lately her heart has been failing and she's been passing out for a couple of seconds and then coming back to life. Also, her lung area looks really swollen, and liquid is oozing from her eyes. Usually she will sniff around the garbage for scraps, but as of late, she won't eat anything at all-including human food (her favourite). Her stomach is now inverted and she is extremely skinny. My family can not afford to see a vet, as conditions have been extremely hard on us. Does anyone have any suggestions? Advice is greatly appreciated.

And there isnt cell phone service or anything. But they invited 3 younger girls (who are extremely promiscuous) to stay the night with them out at camp. I am at home, worrying. Keep in mind we are in a serious relationship and plan on getting married. I trust him completely, but I'm really hurt that he would go out for the night. If I ever did this to him, he would freak. But i wouldn't, because I feel as though it would put us in an awkward situation. I don't know what to do...please help.. :(

Okay so, last night my boyfriend went out with his friends. They went to the bar until 2am (he was pretty drunk) then he went to a house party. I was home in bed, and this morning, I got a call at 8am. It was from him, asking if I could pick him up from this house and drive him to his car (which he left at the bar, due to the fact that he was drinking). I picked him up, and when I arrived, I asked whose house I was picking him up from. He named his ex-girlfriend's best friend. He slept there with his guy friends, and his ex obviously slept there too. Everyone was really drunk. He told me nothing happened, and I KNOW that's the truth. Because we have a great-trusting relationship. It just sucks for me because I don't trust her and I don't trust alcohol. I'm not mad at him at all, I just can't help but be bummed about it.

HOW WOULD YOU DEAL WITH THE SITUATION? WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER? I don't want to say the wrong thing and push him away because I trust him and we have a good relationship. HELP.

I have always had a PC, and I don't know much about Mac's.. but I have heard a lot of good things about them. I am going away to university next year, and will need a laptop that is easy to transport and has a good battery life. Please give me your input. Thank you!

Okay so, I currently attend the University of Ottawa and I am interested in studying public relations. I am not quite sure what type of career I would go into when I graduated? Does anyone have a degree in this field? Or know anything about it? I'm interested in learning, PLEASE HELP!!

What is the difference between demi-permanent hair colour and permanent hair dye?

I USED TO HAVE BLACK HAIR. now it's all gone because i bleached it, lightened it, and darkened it to a light brown (twice), and within the last month. Thing is, I HATE IT. I have this black hair dye that I'm staring at, and I know it works really well. I want to use it so bad. My hair is still fairly healthy. Should i do it????

There are so many hair products out there that promise to "restore damaged hair" but i actually DO want silky locks. Has anyone tried a product that actually worked and they loved???

Okay, so, summer is almost over and I will need to purchase my textbooks for college again soon. I also have a credit card I'm trying to pay off and a monthly student loan payment. But I'm a shopaholic! When I see something I like i feel like i can't leave the store without it. It makes me so happy to bring something new home. Money's meant to be spent, right? Haha.. so I need some advice. Like saving money and possibly some budgeting tips would be great

OKay so, like I said above, my boyfriend smokes weed. I have tried it but didn't have intentions on doing it all the time. He used to do it a couple times a day last year in college, but recently it's been down to 2-3 times a week since we've been home together this summer. He doesn't do anything harmful, and he just does it with his best guy friend who lives across the street. Everytime he is high, it bothers me though. I'm worried about his health, but weed is so contradictory. I'm just a little confused

Okay, so, I dated this guy for over a year, and everything was good at first. But then he started to be controlling, and he would always have to know where I was and who I was with. He called me over and over until I picked up, even if I was actually busy. I tried ending things, but he always promised it would get better, so I let it go. One night, I cheated on him with a guy I actually really liked. I know this is wrong, and I shouldn't have done that, but now I'm out of that relationship and with the guy I cheated on him with. When my ex found out, he said he was going to get all my friends against me and he has. He made up a bunch of horrible lies about me and told them, not only to end my friendship, but to end my relationship too. Luckily, my boyfriend knows the truth and didn't fall for it. But my so called "best friends" did. Every time I tried to stick up for myself, they called me a liar. I shouldn't even have to stick up for myself because everything he told them was false! It's horrible, to the point where I have had to block all of them from my life because I couldn't deal with the harassment. The people who used to be my friends would text me and call me a horrible person, especially the one who was my best friend since we were little. They are all being horrible and I just can't deal with it anymore. I want the lying to stop. The more upset i get, the happier my ex is. What can I do? Help me!
