3 AnswersSoftware5 years agoAny movie suggestions?
Me and my friend like to hang out and watch movies and we're looking for a new movie that could be in our top 5 movies of all time. Something with great acting a great story and perfect atmosphere would be best. Currently our list goes 1408, shutter island, identity, cabin in the woods, the mist. Feel free to tell me what an idiot i am for thinking those movies are that good.
11 AnswersMovies5 years agoLet me ask a simple question to those who believe we live in a rape culture?
If we do then why is rape seen as the only unforgivable and inexcusable crime a human can commit. Let me go into detail. In media and art we see hero's who have commit crimes in order to create a greater good or to show their weakness. In breaking bad the hero was a meth dealer/murder. Yet we all thought he was a good man. In Dexter the hero was a serial killer. But can you think of a single time a rapist was a hero of anything? Can you think of anything where a rapist was seen as anything other then the lowest form of scum? I doubt it.

2 AnswersPolitics5 years agoWhy do men not have the right to refuse parental responsibility?
Women have the right to chose to not take care of a child they were pregnant with. They can simply have an abortion or give the child up to the state. So why is it that men don't have the same right? Can anyone give a better reason other then well if the man got her pregnant he should take responsibility. Which of course imply's that women are helpless creatures that have no say in sex. In short why can't men have a legal equivalent to an abortion?
9 AnswersGender Studies5 years agoComputer running slower after being turned on for a few hours?
I've noticed that while gaming on my computer after it's been on for several hours it will have spikes of large frame rate drops. If I restart the computer it will fix its self. Does anyone know what might be causing this. I've had this problem over several versions of video drivers so that can't be it. I'm running A GTX 980 with an Intel 4790K. I think it might be my ram is dying cause around the time this started happening I started getting a error message about my ram (error code Ox00000000) when I would turn my computer off.
6 AnswersDesktops5 years agoWhy call your self a feminist?
If you personally believe in the equality of all people then why not associate your self with less tarnished groups like egalitarianism. Especially when the actions of most feminist seems to contradict the idea that men and women are equal. eg protesting meeting discussing male suicide side rates, spreading misinformation like the 1 in 4 myth and the wage gape, banning "offensives behaviours or comments.
5 AnswersGender Studies5 years ago#MessageToFeminists?
Why is it female genital mutilation happening in a few third world countries is a problem yet male genital mutilation happening in most first world countries isn't.
P.S. If your response is it is and we care about that to, can you show a single time that a feminist has ever brought the problem up?
4 AnswersGender Studies5 years agoFeminist, can you give an example of a single legal right women don't have that men do in the first world?
If not how do you still argue that women are oppressed in the first world?
4 AnswersGender Studies5 years agoFeminist. If you believe women are the oppressed class.?
Then why is it things like longer lines in women bathrooms and man spreading are issues that get attention from massive new's outlet's yet the male suicide rates are almost never even mention and when they are those mentioning them are usually are attacked for taking the focus away from women's issues.
4 AnswersGender Studies5 years agoI'm so angry at everything?
It seems like I can't go a day without freaking out and punching a hole in the wall or breaking something. It feels like life is so unfair and I don't ever seem to be anything other then pissed of and depressed anymore. I can't stop going back and forth between wanting to kill myself and kill everyone that I feel like has wronged me. My hand is bleeding right now from a hole I just punched in the wall and I can't even feel it because of the adrenaline. Is this ever going to ******* stop?
4 AnswersPsychology5 years agoIs there any good left in humanity?
I spent most of my life with an almost unending belief that there was good in us. that we could always find our way. But lately. I see so little worth redeeming in us.
So much pointless racism and bigotry. Hate for nothing. A total lack of understanding in the cycles of violence we all support. This is not me hatting humanity. I want people to be better. To be happy. But I don't think they ever will.
