Hi, I'm a 18 year old asian girl and I mostly frequent the Art and Humanities and Society and Culture sections. :)

  • What do doctors have to say about homosexuality?

My family doctor personally advised me to not engage in lesbian sex because she says she treats lesbian women with STD's. Yet I find nothing on the internet that supports what she told me. Instead when I google my question word for word, it vaguely supports people to stop hiding and come out, rather than the health facts. Ideas?

  • My only interest lies in the liberal arts; what more sensible thing should I study?

Sensible, as in a major that would bring in a high paying job. I'm not particularly good at science and math, or even English. I'm a big lover of history, art , language and culture, and it's my dream to curate or do do something with a museum. I'd also like to be involved in paintings backgrounds for movies or design/animate characters. But basically if the job has to do with art, I'd do it. But there aren't a lot of jobs in art, history, language and culture, and there's more in the STEM subjects. Maybe a balance or something? I don't know. Studying what I love couldn't possibly get the most money to make a good living. And if I get the degree of what I love doing the most, who's going to hire me anyway? I'm a girl who's completed one year of college, and I'm still figuring things out.

  • What language should I study if I am an art major?

I am an art major and French, German and Italian would make sense. My school has majors and minors in French and German but just classes for Italian. But I am also interested in Chinese. My school has a minor for that. Any suggestions?

  • Is it legal if I am in a friends with benefits relationship with a 16 year old and I'm 18?

Okay, I'm the girl. I am in college and he's a high school junior. He's going to the same high school I graduated from. Back in October, I asked him for a friends with benefits relationship, but he refused to do any touching because he only wanted to do that with someone he was committed to. I only wanted him for his body, but then I decided to be his girlfriend. 17 days later, he broke up with me because "it was him, not me." It was mostly an online relationship anyway, since my college was 30 miles away. He was 15 at the time, but since then he was turned 16. We continued to be friends. Then just three days ago, I went to his house, and hung out a bit, and he walked me home. No one else was home but my eight year old sister ( who I had brought to his house with me). We went downstairs and cuddled, which led to kissing, petting, and him touching my breast. We both want to go farther, but is it legal? I don't want to get in trouble for statutory rape. I live in Michigan.

  • Do you love the guy you are with?

Hi, I'm 18, and a freshman in college, and dating a 15 year old junior in high school. I feel safe with him and I can tell him anything. We chat on Facebook all the time, especially at night. I've told him my entire past. We understand each other so completely. It is like we are twins. I have never been in a relationship before him. We started dating October 30. It may be too early in the relationship to tell, but I'm starting to realize that I view our relationship as more of a partnership. I cringe when people know of us. A relationship is only for two, not for two people and everyone else... Right? I prefer it when I am alone with him, when it's just us. We give each other our deepest secrets, our time, and nice words. However, I don't really feel like I love him. I haven't even had a crush on him. I want to be physical with him and flirt with him though. I want to have someone to play with and be cute with by flirting. But my heart isn't obsessive about him, like the guys I didn't pursue in the past. Please help... Do you love the guy you are with?

  • I'm a college freshman, he's a high school sophomore, what should I do?

Hi I'm 17, asian, a girl, and I'm a college freshman. Last school year there was this totally adorable freshman boy with a distinctive voice that made me laugh because there was none other like it. Then when I walked away this picture of us doing it doggy style floated into my mind, and I thought I was totally crazy. I barely knew this boy, and all the fantasies I'd had with male classmates were me doing things to them, not the other way around. What was wrong with me?

First semester we didn't really talk, and then at the very start of second semester, I started having depressive thoughts and went to metalcore and death metal to ease my pain. I started talking to this boy about heavy bands, which he knew so much of, and that was when we really hit it off. I started to have these feelings to wanting to touch my lips to his, to violently make out with him. But I was a senior! He was a freshman! What could I do? I talked to several friends about it, and they all advised me not to act on my thoughts.

We stopped talking around May-June because of something stupid, thought afterwards I missed him. Then one day in September he posted this picture of himself that made him look totally sexy, and I wanted to talk to him again. Then, a few days later after the hellos, I told him about what I saw that day and how I sexually desired him. I asked when he would turn 16, so I could invite him to my dorm and do the nasty, and he was into the idea.

I've just recently seen him again, and when we hugged, his muscular body felt so good against mine.

But now I'm not so sure. What about people who see him come in, the people who'll hear us, what about STD's, my parents?

I want him so bad, but this couldn't possibly work out... We now go to different schools, and I know he likes other girls.... </3

Let's say we did do the deed, and then what? sigh

  • Is it true that metalhead men only like girls with short hair?

One of my metalhead friends said once that he was really attracted to short haired girls. I have boob length hair right now, and was thinking about growing it for Locks of Love, but I really want to attract a metalhead, so maybe I should cut it. I could always grow it later. Plus, I also have bangs. Would my hair look like a helmet if I got a short cut?

  • Is it true that the time to find your identity is NOT during the teenage years?

My therapist told me this. She said the time to find your identity is during the 20's.

Then, can I ask, what are the teen years for?

  • If you were black, would you find this offensive?

No hate, I just want opinions.

A facebook friend of mine posted a link to the zombie attack:

    http://news.blogs.cnn.com/2012/05/30/security-vide...

And he reposted a part of his conversation with another friend about it,and she said, "What did they run out of KFC,or something?"

I found this offensive, so I called him a racist bastard.

Then both she and he said that they weren't and another guy stepped in and said it wasn'tracist, it was sterotyping. Whatever it was,I still found it offensive! I told them to fvck off.

Would you find his/her comment offensive or funny?
