  • Could I be bipolar?

I've been diagnosed with major depression before, and I know that's what I'm going through now. I've got an appointment with my family dr tomorrow since I couldn't get in to see a psychologist for a month and I need a little help now.

I've never really connected my other behavior to mania. However, I go through periods were I'm extremely agitated. I'll be very anxious. I'll move around a lot and fidget. I won't be able to sleep. I remember times when I've cleaned the bathroom or whatever in the middle of the night just for something to do. Could this be just hypomania? I've always just thought it was just quirky me.

I don't want to bring up depression with my doctor and have him write me a script for Prozac (which is what I was on before) and really be bipolar and not just a person who suffers from depression. I also don't want to bring it up if my symptoms aren't bipolar.

Could I also have an anxiety problem? I'm always anxious no matter if my mood is up or down.

  • My cat is limping, what could be wrong?

My cat suddenly started to limp the other day (I saw it when she started.) Sometimes she seems fine, sometimes she walks on 3 legs. She's let me look at her paw and I've inspected it. There is no swelling and nothing seems to be stuck in it. She lets me squeeze gently on it and move her little toes. Can cat's sprain their paw or is this possibly something she's doing for more attention?

  • Question about tentative selection to be adjudications officer?

I received an email saying I have been tentatively selected for a position as an AO along with telling me my GS and salary. What are the steps now? Is it possible I won't be hired? Is there an interview? I really want this job, but I don't want to get too excited if it means that I might not get it.

  • Question about a K-1 visa?

I met a guy while I was in France. We have developed a relationship and want to get married. I'm a US citizen. However, he has an asylum application pending in France. (He's originally from Sri Lanka) Will this mess up his chance for a K-1 visa? Can we still apply if he lives in France and is still a citizen of Sri Lanka or will he have to go back to Sri Lanka for some reason? What if the asylum application fails, can the K-1 still be processed?

I'm just not sure if his current immigration status in France matters at all or not.
