  • I can't figure out this statistics.?

FIRST PROBLEM: The amounts of time per workout an athlete uses a stair climber are normally distributed, with a mean of 24 minutes and a standard deviation of 7 minutes. Find the probability that a randomly selected athlete uses a stair climber for (a) less than 20minutes, (b) between 24 and 31minutes, (b) between 24 and 31 minutes, and (c) more than 40 min.

SECOND PROBLEM: This second I know the first answer it's 36.70%, but I can't figure out the second

    (b) Out of 1500 randomly selected scores, about how many would be expected to be greater than 21?

    The mean is 20.8

    Std. Dev. 5.3

  • Have you or anyone you know gotten amnesia?

If so, how did you overcome it and get your life back on track ? How did you get the person to trust and love you again kinda like in the vow. I have seen crazy stories about that and I don't know what I would do if I forget the great things in my life or have to get someone to trust me again.

  • What's the ultimate adventure you've ever been on or dream of experiencing?

The reason I ask is because I am trying to write a scholarship essay and I can't think of what to write about. It also says if you had a day to travel to your dream location.

  • Would you rather date someone with a promiscuous past or record (minor offense)?

Like let's say someone did drugs and they've been clean for years or someone who had sex with A LOT of people like 15+ .

  • GUYS: Be honest, would you be with a girl if she wanted to wait till marriage?

Just be honest I want to know. I am one of those females. Seems like people aren't a big fan of that even girls can be to.

  • If God wants us to wait till marriage why do some people regret it? (CHRISTIAN COMMENTS ONLY)?

If you do not agree with this at all please do not waste your time by commenting, because I will delete your comment. If God wants us to wait till marriage why do some people regret it? I want to wait till marriage and I have seen others wait till marriage and they are perfectly happy with themselves. So why are some people not satisfied if the Lord promises to full fill us. I think some of the reasons is because people were taught incorrectly about it. Like some people were told that if you have sex outside of marriage you were sinful, dirty, and going to hell. I DO NOT AGREE WITH THAT AT ALL. It is not shameful or dirty, because if it was why would it be created? I was taught to believe that you should be looking forward to having sex with your spouse, because you do not want to run into unplanned pregnancies, stds, or being used. Some people make the decision to wait for the wrong reasons like about not being a "good Christian", but that is not what it means. Please someone tell me I want an elaborated answer. I'll give a perfect score to the best answer and please tell me about your personal experience. Thank you!

  • If you waiting till marriage and you did or did not regret it why?

I want to wait till marriage and some people not to but I want to anyways I have seen happy couples wait and they said they're happy and some have different opinions, but I'm just curious was it really the sex or was it something deeper because when you get married it's not just about the sex

  • What's it like being in a sorority or fraternity?

I want to join a sorority this spring, but I have never really known what it's like. My mom is afraid for me to join because she thinks I'm going to get into drinking and partying, but I know not all sororities are like that what is it like and what should i expect and what should I do to get in please be honest!

  • Why do people do this?

Whenever people make the decision to get drunk, get high, or have sex. They tell people that they don't want to be judged for making those decisions in their, but whenever they run into people like me who aren't into those things they have so much to say about me. They call me naive, sheltered, or treat me like I'm dumb. Why is it okay to be rude to someone else, but they can't say anything about me. Isn't that a bit hypocritical and narrow minded?
