I lived in apartment A for 5 years. in August of 2007, a stain appeared on my ceiling and it got progressively worse. Finally, the water came through and by the end of September of the next year, the stain was over 3 feet big in diameter (plus a few other stains). In October, management finally let me take another apartment (they kept putting me off all that time - I'm only at these apartments because it's a good school district and my children can walk to school). So - at the end of October I started moving my belonings to the new apartment (right next door). I'm a single mom working full time and very involved in my children's scouting activities - thus we do not have a lot of free time. The mgmt didn't care how long it took - manager even said this to me. However, the management company for the complex has changed. New company is making wonderful changes and fixing everything. BUT they will not let me have the rest of my children's belongings cuz they said it took too long. No one has ever given me a deadline - not verbally nor in writing. The new apartment is quite a bit smaller than the old one - thus I could not bring everything to the new place - I would go back to the old place when I could and see what I could donate, take with or get rid of. I had to give up a lot of things because of this. Do I have a leg to stand on? Are they in their right to do this?

Help! My 12 year old son had chicken pox in December. He has 2 'pits' right in the middle of his forehead and they just don't seem to be going away. He usually gets a buzz cut (his choice) but this year, he's trying to grow his hair to hide his forehead. He's very disgusted about it. Does anyone have any suggestions?
