Being one of the few sales reps left in the department after restructure and redundancies after new company direction/ strategy is set. Is there an opportunity for a promotion even if I've only been there for half a year???

Is there a chance of getting promoted during a company restructure after being with a company for 6 months? It looks as if they're giving me extra responsibility and authority.

Just had my entire department close at work and most of my colleagues were made redundant after a company restructure and I m now left to carry the work load of a several employees nationally.

I m hoping I get the support needed to offload some of the pressure although in your experience what has been the consequences of a restructure and is this a good opportunity for career advancement.

I get told all the time by people both male and female that I'm really good looking and I should have heaps of girls on the scene. I'm a nice confident guy with a good job and a nice car but still seem to struggle with girls. When I go out I approach lots of women, and always end up with at least 2 or three numbers by the end of the night. Rarely these will turn into dates and a lot of the time women wont even answer my calls after agreeing to a date when I meet them. I'm honestly the kind of guy that likes the idea of meeting a girl, picking her up and taking her on dates, probably now known as the old fashioned way but it seems like women just dont like the idea of that now. I know all the right things to say when I get a girls number but I'm now left clueless as I don't get why women are rejecting me. People say I'm the classic tall dark and handsome type of guy but, why are women so hard to just take on a date. If someone is experiencing the same thing or has some advice it would be very much appreciated.

I have a slight dilemma at the moment. I have been seeing a girl for a few months now only thing is that I have been doing it behind her Boyfreinds back. Bad I know but we get along really well until we had a fight the other night as she thinks that i'm the one that cant be trusted and that she thinks I talk to her and treat her badly at times. She messaged me saying she doesnt want to this anymore but followed up with a phone call saying that she was sorry about the way she was acting and I thought everything was sweet. She wont return my calls or messages, its been a few days now but when your used to talking to someone everyday it seems like a while. Do girls often do this and what should I do.

I recently got hired as a business cadet for a large global company. I am on salary and have been there for rougly 4 months. I just received a payrise, wasnt much but I'm still curious if this is performance based or if its something that usually happens this early.

Recently my boss has congratulated me for doing great work and is moving me to a position as he says its a great learning opportunity for my career. Just wondering tho if a boss would ever do this to make someone with a great work ethic do something in a hope they will advance within the company.

Hey guys, Im currently doing an essay on price inelasticity and the legal and illegal drug industry. I'm looking for ideas on ways price inelasticity affects pharmaceutical companies and how they price their products. If someone could please help me with this.

I been seeing a girl for about a month now who is currently in a relationship of longer than 2 years. It started of by just having some fun but has progressed to having strong feelings for each other.

She lives with her boyfreind and she has told me she is not ready to leave him but can see herself breaking up with him soon. She always wants to see me and she has told me how much she misses me everytime im not around. My question is should I go through with this and keep seeing her or should I just let it go. Has anyone had experience in these situations?

People tend to say I look like a model and that I am quite good looking. I have no problem going out and picking up girls and even getting sex or hooking up, but I am hopeless getting girls to go on dates or getting girls calling me.

I recently scored a job as an entry level business cadet at a global company as im studying a marketing degree. The company starts all cadets at the bottom levels so they understand every aspect of the company. I am meant to be doing bottom line work, but after some design work I did for one of the departments in the company all the managers were complimenting me saying it was really good and asking how I achieved it. The general manager has now requested that I design the website, so I am not doing usual cadet work.

I am wondering how common this and if im doing good, great or fantastic. Just really want some feedback.
