What product should I use to style my frizzy hair?
I've only ever blown dry and straightened my hair, but it quickly turns frizzy. Is there a good, affordable product on the market that I should be using to tone down the frizz and make my hair look good? Should I use it before or after I blow dry and straighten it? And how much should I use? Thanks!
3 AnswersHair8 years agoCan I get financial assistance to send my child to daycare/preschool in FL?
I'm a single mom in Florida who is looking into daycare and preschool options for when my daughter gets older. The cost of daycare is unbelievable!! I am aware that there is a tax credit for low income families that send their child to a licensed childcare facility. I am also aware that there is a free voluntary pre-kindergarten program for 4 year olds. I was wondering if there was any other financial assistance available to help me pay the childcare costs? Thanks in advance.
3 AnswersToddler & Preschooler8 years agoIs there another body butter as good as Bath & Body Works?
Looking for a good, but less expensive option for the body BUTTER from Bath & Body Works. I know some other brands also make body butter, but I have yet to test them. My mom uses them for her eczema and I use them for my pregnancy stretch marks. Recommendations for either of us?
1 AnswerOther - Skin & Body8 years agoWhich is the Best Magazine for 25 Year Old Woman?
I'm a 25 year old middle class woman with an interest in family life, articles about different cultures and experiences, affordable!! fashion, travel, relationships and health. I have read Glamour, Marie Claire, Ladies Home Journal and Redbook in the past. I haven't read any lately and would like some recommendations as to what magazines you would recommend and why. I don't mind a magazine about fashion as long as it's AFFORDABLE. I can't afford a $400 sweater! I don't mind reading about health/sex, as long as it is done tastefully and doesn't take up the entire magazine (not too interested in Cosmo). Also very interested in reading interesting articles about women around the world. I'm finding it hard to find a magazine that meets both affordable fashion, interesting articles, and my age demographic. While I like Redbook, and Ladies Home Journal, I find that they're targeted towards an older audience. What magazines would you suggest? Thanks in advance.
2 AnswersMagazines8 years agoWhat is your experience with artificial insemination?
I am interested in possibly going through artificial insemination to conceive. I would like to know more about the entire process from people who have experienced it before. How much does it cost? How many doctor's visits are required? What kind of tests do doctor's administer? How is the donor sperm chosen (at the clinic or through other means)?
For the record: I am a healthy single woman in my 20's. Please don't tell me that I'm "too young" or that I should wait to "find the right man". I am only interested in the possibilities and am not making any final decisions quite yet. Thanks for your help!
1 AnswerTrying to Conceive1 decade agoWhat can I do to make The Sims 2 more interesting?
Lately, I've been getting rather bored with the Sims 2. I already download some great custom content . I also have downloaded custom careers and some mods. I've even tried the legacy challenge, but I just get bored with it too easy. I love the Sims (and I can't wait for Sims 3 to come out next year. Woot!), but I'd like something fun to do in the meantime. What would you suggest I do to make playing the Sims 2 more fun? Thanks!
12 AnswersVideo & Online Games1 decade agoWhich states have the best teaching opportunities?
I am an elementary education major in Illinois and will be getting certified very soon. One of my professors told me there there are a lot of great teaching opportunities in the West, and that teachers can get jobs simply from phone intereviews (considering they have legit cerification for the state). Does anyone know which states these might be, or know of any other states across the U.S. which have good teaching opportunities? Thanks!
