  • Can I be Pagan and Christian?

Is it possible to be one? I am a Christian and I strongly believe in the bible and the Trinity and all that. But I feel that the vast majority of my religion is really not doing it the way God intended. I feel like it should be more of a pagan religion, with a lot more connections to spirits and wildlife, is that considered a pagan christian?

Also I am really no into witchcraft and wouldn't want to do that, or praise goddesses and some foreign gods, I just want to praise my God in a more pagan/earthy way. Is there any bible verses against that?

  • Toxic shock symdrom question?

I am worried I might be showing symptoms, I put in a tampon at 9 or 10 in the morning, and woke up at near 5 in the afternoon, I was really dizzy when I stood up and felt sick. I figured around 10 past five that it might be TSS and I took out the tampon, but I still feel very dizzy and sick? Could TSS be a possibility?

  • Should Christians use altars?

"Leave there thy gift before the altar" Matthew 5:24

Should we give gifts to God on altars, its mentioned over 300 times in the bible and has many passages explaining to give gifts. Matthew 23:19 "Ye fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?"

I know we are not to become materialistic with these items, or worship them as idols. I just want to know if giving gifts to God is acceptable, and what kind of Gifts they are talking about.

  • Why don't Christians use anointing oil?

The bible doesn't condemn it and it is used on several occasions in the New Testament. Why do people completely ignore it and act as if its some pagan ritual?

Mathew 6:17 "..anoint thine head, and wash thy face." Its seen as a cleansing and a healing aspect. (Mark 6:13 "And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them.")

  • Why don't Christians with short hair wear headcoverings?

1 Corinthians:5-6 "5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.

6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered."

What is your take on this passage?

  • CHRISTIANS: Do all people have this many signs?

I have had a lot of signs from God, or prophecies if you will. Like my friend and I were burning paper with random words on it. One of the papers left a single charred piece, I thought it would be fun to read it and see if it made sense. It said "You go, and the stars explode". We found it interesting, but were baffled by its meaning. A week later, my friend's boy friend left her, we were standing outside and lifted our heads to see a amazing display of the stars flashing, every star. They looked like they were exploding.

Is this normal...? Is this a regular Christian ordeal or something more?

  • CHRISTIANS: Is it okay to be baptized more then once?

I was baptized when I was 12, I wasn't really committing myself then. I mean I understood what it meant and why people did it, but I didn't really commit and say I wanted to dedicate my life to God. I have done miles of evil after that, and I want to get baptized as a real way of dedication. I actually understand at a spiritual level what this means, and I think I'm ready.

Does the bible permit this? or even speak of it...? What is your personal opinion on the matter?

  • Should I get another dog?

I have another personal dog, and my family has 2 others dogs. But one is very old (15-16) and will most likely pass soon. The other is kind of a loner, and doesn't like other dogs very much. So my dog is kind of lonely. I'm concerned because she never is able to play with either of them and I think me may becoming depressed.

Is 4 dogs to many? She's going to be a puppy, and I'll be going to highschool every weekday and I want to make sure I have enough time for her.
