  • Can you tell me about any life-changing religious experience you had?

This year has been crazy and with everything going on in my life I have turned to God, something I should have done a long time ago. I won't go into much detail but now I have a better understanding of God and His love for us (His children). After doing some research on the internet I've come across some stories that talk about how people experienced God in a major way, so major that it changed their lives and the experience was always described as supernatural. Do you have any stories like this to share? I am very curious.

  • If I file a restraining order on someone who is here illegally, will they be arrested when they come to court?

I live in Texas. I filed a restraining order against someone and recently found out that they may be here illegally. The case worker didn't mention anything about it when I filed my affidavit a few weeks ago but she had his entire record, including any and all times when he was arrested. I want a restraining order to protect myself and my child. We go to court for it in a few days. He hasn't left me alone since filing even though he hasn't particularly been violent, just harassing...but will the judge have records of him being deported in the past if this is in fact true? If so will they arrest him on the spot? And if they do will I still get a restraining order in case he comes back?

Also it is not a criminal protective order. Just a civil one. The case worker pointed that out like I needed to know it.

  • Could I be having an ectopic pregnancy or a miscarriage?

I would like some opinions in what may be going on with my pregnancy and/or stories if anyone has experienced something similar. Here's my story. I am a proud mother of a beautiful 1 year old boy. I am pregnant again but this time I feel as though something has gone terribly wrong. I haven't had a normal period since March 16, 2013. I know the exact date because while in the store about a few weeks after this cycle my darling bf tells me randomly that he didn't think he pulled out in time while we were having sex the night before. Ok so at this point I am looking for signs and symptoms of pregnancy and my first and only symptom was when I did not get my period in April or May. So at the end of May after taking about 5 pregnancy tests, which were all negative. I head over to my new obgyn who checks me out completely does a urine and tells me that I am not pregnant. ok, fine. but then she says just to be sure lets do a blood test. so when she gets the results she tells me that my hcg levels are at a 10 and she states that that's an extremely low number and she wants to test in two weeks to see if they rise. meanwhile I start to bleed, it started as spotting one Thursday night after sex and I know from research that that can be normal if your cervix is tender but over the next few days the bleeding got heavier and heavier to the point where I was changing my pad 5-6 times within an hour and I couldn't even pull my undies down to sit on the toilet without making a mess on the bathroom floor (sorry tmi) anyways I just recently stopped bleeding and I have taken another blood test and she tells me the levels only went up a fraction so the pregnancy is not viable. so she wants to do 1 more blood test and then maybe give me medicine in which she said "would do horrible things to my body" anyone help will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help

  • What can I do about my boss not paying me what she agreed to?

I work for a doctor as "office manager" but I am not getting fair pay. I got this job fresh out of school and started off at 8 dollars and hour for front desk only. When I got here I was actually doing billing, answering phones, pt check in and check out, scheduling, filing, records referrals everything under the sun AND I also had to sometimes help with putting patients in and out of the rooms (triage). Ok so at this point Im still front desk then one day we were enrolling with a school to have students work at our office for their internship/externship and the form we were filling out asked who was the office manager she told me to "just put my name" so ever since then i have considered my self the office manger. in january of 2012 she gave me a 1 dollar promotion so now im at 9 dollars and hour and still doing EVERYTHING and she told me when i came back from maternity leave (mar 2012-june 2012) i would get another raise....ok so i took maternity leave (unpaid btw) and then came back no mention of a raise. i decided to ask her myself for a raise in jan 2013 but then she got sick and has been out of the office ever since. so now our hours are cut to not even 30 hours a week and im still at 9 an hour, i barely make enough to take care of myself, my child and pay rent. its a hassel and after discussing things over with my coworker who has become a really good friend of mine we discovered that she makes 9 an hour just like me and she's our m.a and she said that she signed paperwork and was told that she would be starting at 10 an hour (this was over 3 years ago when she started) but after calculating this weeks check (handwritten checks btw) we saw that she only gets 9 an hour. Besides looking for another job which is the obvious....what should/can we do?

  • If I lie on my apartment rental application saying Im a first time renter when I am not will they find out?

Here's my situation. I rented an apartment for the first time back in September 2012. Back in January my house was broken into, only money was stolen no police report was made. In Feb it was broken into again, the police caught the burgulars and recovered all of my property, also a report was made. Now last week my apartment was broken into for the 3rd time and EVERYTHING was stolen, from my tv to my cell phone to my clothes, i have nothing. A police report was made, the door was kicked in. Maintenance took 5 hours to come out to fix my front door. they brought out a door that was too big and made it fit didnt even give me a deadbolt lock, left and said they had to leave because it was 5pm and they didnt get paid overtime. so they left me with one lousy lock on my door, told me they would be out first thing in the morning meaning 8am. i didnt stay at my apartment that night because i was scared for the safety of my family (i have a 1 year old son) the next day i came to the apartment around 11am to see if maintenance had fixed my door but they had not. i called the manager who gave me the run around saying she would be at my unit to see what a piss poor job her maintenece guys did, she showed up over 2 hours later in a very confrontational mood. my childs father was with me due to my nervousness about being at my apartment with minimum protection. the manager of the complex doesnt like him because he confronted her about maintenece taking 3 weeks to fix my busted out window from the last break-in, so going into the situation with this manager was not pretty from the jump. long story short she accussed me of lying about the door being broken into i guess in an attempt to charge for the maintenence work, even after the police report was given she tried to say that the police officer she spoke with told her i left the door unlocked. and when i asked her about getting a transfer to another unit or breaking my lease because i feared for the safety of myself and my family she told me there was NOTHING she could do to help me her exact words were and i quote "i am not responsible for your safety, you're responsible for your safety and i am responsible for my own" i cursed her out and was "escorted" out of the office and served a 24 hour eviction letter stating i acted in a rude threatening way to her and the entire office staff. so althought i am glad to have nothing more to do with these people i know the eviction will affect me trying to find a new place to stay. i am applying at apartments but i didnt put down that i stayed at this complex. should i be worried? thanks
