It is a 1982 Mercruiser 120. A friend of mine has one with a cracked block. I am not sure if this one uses anti-freeze or if it is raw water cooled. I am nowhere near the boat so I have no way to tell. I am trying to help him out a little, but he has no idea of what he is looking at.

Has the 4.3 TBI motor. Replaced the fuel pump, filter, and pump relay. Van will run for about 5 minutes or so and then the injectors quit pulsing and it dies. Will restart after a few minutes. Will run on carb cleaner. Have watched the injectors quit spraying, just as if you turned the key off except the fuel pump will continue to run until it reaches the pressure cut off.

A friend of mine hung up his Jeep, I wasn't there, so I don't know what he did, and now it won't back up. Nothing happens when it is in reverse and the fluid level is correct. I figured I would ask if there could be something simple to fix before I replace the trans for him. Thanks.

I just want to make sure I got enough oil in it. It is really cold so the oil was thick when I changed it and I am concerned about air bubbles.

I have a 1985 RX-7. It has the stock carbed 12A. Will a 13B bolt right in with no modifications, or are the motor mounts or transmission (5-speed) different. The 13B will be carbed also. Thanks

My wife just cut a 100mcg/hr fentynel patch and put one in each side of her mouth. I did not know she did this until she could barely stay awake, then I was able to get her to tell me what she did. She is almost non-responsive now. She keeps "turning off" and then gasping for air. What can I do?? Will it wear off??

I have a new 25hp Mercury EFI 4-stroke. Mercury also has a 30hp motor with the exact same specs except for the power rating. What is the difference, and is it something simple that I can do to get the extra 5 HP. Maybe a computer chip or something?

I have been using my digital camera to take pictures of stuff that I sell on ebay and now it won't work. My computer acts as if the camera doesn't exist. When I plug it up the computer makes that error sound. The page with all of the prompts won't show up. Thanks for the help.

Rich people pay more in taxes than most of us "middle-classers" make in a year. Why do so many people want to stick it to the rich so bad. Is it jealousy, envy, anger, or what? If somebody has "made-it", I say good for them! Some people claim it is just "fair" for the rich to pay more. That doesn't make sense. People should not be penalized just for their level of success. We should be proud that the opportunity is there for anyone to become wealthy in this country. You only need a good idea and the balls to put it into action! Quit hatin' on the rich!!!!

I know that the Aussie version of the 250 inline-6 head for Ford can make much more than the U.S. version, but where can I get one. Does anyone living in Australia have one, with intake manifold, that they would like to sell. Where else might I be able to find one?

If there is I would just like to know how you deal? What is your life like?

I have a 2000 Grand Marquis with the 4.6L V-8. The check engine light came on and was for a "misfire, cyl. 4". I replaced the coil for that cylinder and replaced all of the spark plugs. The car still runs like crap, misses and jumps, especially when turning low RPM's, such as when in O.D. The car has 102,000 miles and has been well maintained. I disconnected the battery to clear the codes and the light has not come back on even though it still runs like crap. Thanks for any help.

I would like to start a towing company, with just one truck for now, and I am not sure about licenses. Is there a special permit needed to start a business like that, or do I just get a truck, insurance, and a storage lot, and start advertising. I have the insurance and storage parts covered already. Should I contact the local police dept. and ask what they would check if they were to run a check on a tow truck? Thanks for the help.

What is the purpose of a union, other than to spread greed. There are no sweat shops, no unfair workshop practices, and no forced labor in our country today. Those were the reasons that unions were established. Unions are only about greed in this day and age. Why do unions only try to involve themselves in huge corporations (think GM) which have the potential to fatten their wallets, and not involve themselves in small companys whose employee's could actually use a little help. GM, UPS, and others would offer very competitive wages and benefits packages without the unions, but the unions have convinced the workers that they should get more because the company makes so much money. It is none of a workers business how much money a company makes. If you don't like how much money your company pays, look for another job or better your education. It is not a companys responsibility to finance your shortcomings. Vote republican and TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOURSELF.

What does "reg" mean when referring to a car. I see it all the time in Answers, what is it?

Why do the butterflys stay closed during the burn-out. How can the engine increase RPM's to smoke the tires without flooding. It would be like a choke staying closed, wouldn't it?
