  • Can AA sized Li-ion batteries be used as replacements in solar charged lights?

Have solar charged lights around the yard and the existing batteries are no long holding a charge. I hear Li-ion batteries are better at holding a charge and have less problems with charge memory issues. Before I go buy new replacement NiMh I was considering paying a bit more for the Li-ion type. Only thing is I'm not sure if the charge from a solar cell is enough to give them a sufficient charge. Or would I be better off with NiCads?
