I want to make a wet specimen of a newborn domestic rabbit kit, it's about the length of a hand. I know you use formalin or 70% alcohol but which would work best? With a specimen this size, do I have to inject it? To fix it in formalin, how long do I soak it and what ratio of formalin to rabbit do I need? Thanks if you can answer!

I know if you hit a deer yourself youre supposed to call in for a roadkill tag and then its yours. But what if you find a dead animal (specifically raccoon, red fox or whitetail deer) that someone else hit that you want to take? is that legal? do they actually care if its not? (im asking because I clean bones for display or art purposes)

Can you have only one if you are willing to spend a lot of time with it? Also, will they get along with guinea pigs? I wouldn't keep them in the same cage or put them together and leave them unsupervised but would they get along if I just let them sit together for a little while?
