Some Christians imply that if you don't repent and stop sinning you can't get into heaven?
Does that mean if I continue to be sexually attracted to women I'm not married to (IE lust) does that mean I can't go to heaven?
Matthew 5:28 NIV
But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Not only can I not stop this but to be perfectly honest I don't feel guilty just for being attracted because this rule seems to strict, so I can't honestly repent at all for this one.
So am I going to hell?
14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality4 years agoDoes God have body parts? Or is he more like a shapeless blob of spirit stuff? Is he even made of spirit stuff?
Is God and our souls made of the same stuff? If so how come God's omnipotent and we're not? Is it because he has more spirit stuff than we do? Or is God made of something different all together?
10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality4 years agoChristians say God doesn't send people to hell, so lets say I'm at the pearly gates after death...?
God thumbs through his book of life and doesn't find my name. He tells me I am not worthy. Can I just flip God off, and walk past him into heaven? I mean if he doesn't send people to hell, and I decide i'm going into heaven regardless of his opinion, what is he going to do about it?
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality4 years agoWTF is wrong with North Korea? Is there some strategy behind wildly provoking bigger stronger countries?
They show propaganda vidoes of them bombing the U.S. They've made public threats that they're building nuclear capabilities to strike the U.S. I don't get it? How could this end well for them.
Even if they did want to strike us wouldn't they build up their capabilities quietly? It's like they're not even trying. It's like Kim Jong Un is just trying to bait us into nuking him. What could he possibly get out of that?
4 AnswersPolitics4 years agoNow that we've lowered the bar so much for who's qualified for president who should we elect next? I say Lil Wayne.?
Instead of immature morning twitter rants, we can have a president who cuts dis tracks against everyone who criticizes him. That'd be fun.
5 AnswersPolitics4 years agoWhy is it that every other developed country on the planet can have universal healthcare at a fraction of the cost the US spends?
We spend way more money and we get way less out of it. Why can't we have cheaper healthcare that includes universal coverage like everyone else?
8 AnswersPolitics4 years agoQuestion for Trump supporters?
Ok lets try this again.
If you're late to work and your boss calls you into his office, tells you he's not happy about it, and says "I hope you show up on time from this point forward," don't you take that as a stern warning?
Or do you figure your boss just called you in to idly discuss random hopes and dreams? Do you respond with "Nice. I hope I win my fantasy football league"
8 AnswersPolitics4 years agoQuestion for you Trump Supporters:?
If I were to call a hit man and tell him I 'hope' a certain person had an unfortunate 'accident', and if that were to happen I 'hope' the hitman would find half the money upfront and the other half afterwards, an I in the clear?
Does using the word 'hope' automatically mean the conversation is innocent?
6 AnswersPolitics4 years agoWould this be copyright infringement?
Say I wanted to write an unofficial sequel to a certain famous book. If I set my story 100 years in the future so all the characters in the famous book are dead, and I create my own characters and don't ever mention any of the names from the original book but I do vaguely reference some of the events and locations from the original book (described roughly the same but with new names), would that be copyright infringement?
