  • Has anyone heard of the word "rundgelous" (sp?)?

    I grew up hearing this word - it sounds like it should be spelled "rungilous" or "rundgelous". It was used to mean careless, disorganized, or reckless, as in "Stop being so rundgelous digging through the Christmas ornaments!"

    I cannot find any word matching this meaning and approximate pronunciation/spelling. I am in the northeast US but the word may have origins in the South.

    Has anyone heard of this word or something like it?
