2 AnswersKansas City8 years agoDoes it cost more to use central heating than air conditioning?
When I use my air conditioner in my apartment it uses on average 20 kWh of energy a day, compared to when I use the heating function on the thermostat it uses ~40 kWh, twice as much energy for the same process of keeping the air at ~72 degrees. Is this normal or could their be something wrong with the heating unit?

Ok, my dad recently got me a "Crappie Maxx" fishing pole from Bass Pro Shops and when I pull on the line when the bail is closed, the line will still come out. I have already tried tightening and loosening the drag and yet the problem persists. Any tips or help?

1 AnswerRenting & Real Estate9 years agoLooking For Safe Apartments in Norman OK?
Hello,
I will be leaving the dorms this next fall and going to an apartment, however I am having a hard time finding a safe apartment! The only restrictions on the apartment is that it always pets (cat) and that it is not an individual lease. I would like to be within 5-10 minutes of The University of Oklahoma, or be within the bus system.
All the best,

2 AnswersMen's Health9 years agoI have been looking at getting a new laptop, Mac or PC?
I normally don't ask questions on here, especially easily opinionated ones, but I am really at wits end on this one. I have always disliked Mac's due to functionality reasons at the time (Video gaming, Blu Ray, programming) but as of lately I have found replacements for all those issues. I am now looking at Mac's from a new perspective and have been wondering if maybe I like them. I digress, the root of this is that I am getting 2,500 from my university to get a laptop and I have always looked at PC's and know what I can get with that, but what about a Mac? Basically a Mac Book Pro.
What I am asking is what are the main differences with a PC and Mac and how easy are they to adjust to and what are the values between both? I love PhotoShop and I was wondering how photo-editing is on a Mac. I also have problems with my current laptop with over-heating (the joys of HP), is that an issue with the MBP? Also are Mac's durable, and what are their warranties like? Thank you for your time.
One last thing,
I have heard of Mac's getting outdated and obsolete very quickly, and are the Updates (OS X, Lion, Leopard, Snow Leopard) expensive or free? I know the updates are free, but what about upgrades?

4 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks9 years agoIs Moore, Oklahoma a safe place to live?
Hello, I am currently attending the University of Oklahoma in Norman. I would like to move here full time after college. I have looked around Norman and it seems to be an Okay place (no pun intended). I am originally from Johnson County, Kansas which is a very wealthy area and safe. I have looked at Moore and it seems the closest to what I am used to but it is still a different type of place. I was wondering if anyone knows what the safest place to live at is between Norman, Moore, and Oklahoma City.
