  • My cat has had bowel troubles since being attacked by a dog. What could be the cause, and whay can I do to help?

Here s the deal. My cat Adso got out of the house about 6 or so months ago. Went searching and found her under a broken down car on my property. She couldn t move. I carefully extracted her and found she had 2 puncture wounds on her left side, right about her hip, and it seemed she couldn t move very well. I took her to a vet, who gave me an antibiotic, said she was attacked by a dog. Nothing was broken or displaced.

She has seemed to make a full recovery, but since then she has had trouble controlling her bowels. Her stool is loose, the color and consistency of peanut butter. She will sit and leave prints, and fart and leave trails. For awhile she wouldn t try to clean her own anus, until I started using wipes whenever I noticed it messy. But now she seems to clean it too much. It seems kinda inflamed sometimes.

She only had one or two instances of runny poop before this, and I changed her diet and it fixed it. Changing her diet doesn t seem to be helping. She also is irritable and attacking this other cats unprovoked when she didn t do that before, but that could be unrelated.

I haven t had the money to take her in to the vet, and she seems otherwise healthy. She is eating regularly, and urinate normally. No blood in her stool. Nothing to indicate more than the inconvenience of finding poop on my clothes and furniture at inopportune times.

Does anyone with vet or animal experience know what might be causing this? Or if there is anything that I can do to fix it?

  • How to replace the trunk latch on a Honda Accord? Year 1989?

The latch isn't working on my Honda Accord. My dad says it's because the receiver on the latch is bent and that I'll have to replace it. My question is, is it difficult to replace it myself if I have the parts, and how is it done, or how much would it cost me to have a professional do it?

I have it duct taped shut right now. :P

  • Is there a possible serious condition that I should go to the hospital with these symptoms?

While laying in bed, I moved to roll over and very suddenly I got this very intense pain on the left side of my chest but only the left side. It's sharp and stabbing. Made worse by moving or breathing, or holding my breathe. Is going to the ER recommended? I only ask because I have no insurance...

  • I was told by my supervisor that my best friend is going to be fired tomorrow. What should I do?

My work has been firing a lot of people lately, and because my supervisor trusts me and I'm a reliable senior employee, and friendly with them, all my supervisor's have a tendency to tell me who got fired before the person is actually fired the only problem is that today I was told that my best friend was fired for a small mistake, but she won't be told until tomorrow. On one side, she is my best friend, and I feel like I should warn her. On the other hand, I don't want to betray the trust of my supervisor and get in trouble. What should I do?

  • My PS3 won't load any of the sections for purchasing games?

  • Anybody know a quick way to earn $50?

I got shorted on my hours at work this paycheck, and am just under $50 short of being able to pay a bill. It's not due until the end of next week, so I have a little time. I don't have anything valuable that I can pawn or sell. A plasma donation center is opening down the street from me, but it won't be open in time. I'm not looking for free money, I want to earn it. Any ideas?

  • Is it possible to negotiate a security deposit on an apartment?

I'm moving out on my own for the first time and I have a deadline of this Friday. I've found a near perfect apartment, I can afford the rent and utilities no problem. The problem lies with the security deposit. Due to my deadline and a family emergency a few weeks ago, I can't afford the full deposit. The apartment is $350 a month, and the deposit is also $350. I was told I might be able to convince the landlord to let me make the deposit.in payments, and I've heard from others I may be able to negogiate the deposit to a price I can afford.

I'm wondering if I can actually do either of those 2 things, and if I could get some advice on how to do that. Thanks in advance.

  • Is there any safe way for me to have my ears pierced?

I've had my ears pierced twice in the past but I had to let the holes close because of the severe allergic reaction I had to the metal. I've used the nickel-free, pure gold, platinum, hypo-allergenic, but I still had allergic reactions to everything I've tried.

I was talking to a friend the other day who mentioned that she has friends that have the same problem, but they just had their ears pierced with a hollow ceramic tube that they then put the earring through so that the metal never touches the skin. My question is: Is that safe, or possible? Or should I just give up on having pierced ears?

  • Need help getting OFF the dating site my mom suggested, please?

Due to my lack of success dating, my stepmom suggested I get on the dating website plentyoffish.com

Within a day or two of my joining, I had all sort of guys interested in me, of which all but 2 were very old married men. (40+, I'm 19, and don't really want to date guys more than 7 or 8 years older than me) Of course this really upset me, so I decided I ought to delete my account. It took me 20 minutes to find the form that you use to delete your account, and filled it out and submitted it 6 times. Nothing happened. So I found their contact page and filled out that form in order to inform them that I didn't want to use their service any more. I did this three times, and also nothing happened. I clicked "Submit" and it just went back to the regular help pages, just as it did when I tried to delete my account.

Now, 3 days later, my account still is on their site, and I've replied to every email sent to me by their customer care email account informing them of how angry this is making me, and how much I'd like to have my account removed, and they still aren't doing anything or acknowledging my concerns.

My account is still getting lots of attention from older men, and this is making me really uncomfortable that it won't let me delete ANY of my personal information, or, at the very least, my picture. Has anyone had this problem before who can help, or knows what I can do to make this stop?

  • Considering opening a small, locally owned pet store, what would you think?

Now that I'm getting down to really thinking about what I really want to do in life, I'm thinking back to when I worked at a small, locally owned pet store that I worked at for a time, and I can't remember a time when I was happier than when I worked there.

But now I live in a new state, and there are no stores like that anywhere near where I live, so now I'm considering locating the funds and opening my own. What my store will offer:

-Premium Dog and Cat foods that contain little to no grains

    -Pet toys

    -Healthy treats for pets

-Training aids such as clickers, books, and guides for picking the right pet

    -Pocket pets and supplies

    -Live crickets for reptiles

    -Other miscellaneous pet supplies

    My question is:

If there was a store like this in your area, would you buy from it, or continue buying food from the grocery store or PetCo.

-AMD Processor preferred, but I can deal with Intel

    -Needs disc drive

    -4GB or more RAM

    -At least 400GB storage

Can anyone suggest a place to look, or a brand, or a model?

  • What have been your overall experiences with the lia sophia company?

A friend of mine just recently did a lia sophia jewelry party and I bought about $100 worth of jewelry from it. The party was about three weeks ago, and my stepmom wanted to do a party and scheduled one. Apparently my friend had a lot of trouble getting the charge to go through with the consultant for the jewelry, we have not been called about the party, which we scheduled for a week from right now, and we have not heard from her at all, and we haven't got our orders yet, and my friend says it's gonna be awhile.

My question is, is this sort of service usual for lia sophia, or was it just our consultant? I mean, I work through a similar company, I'm a Slumber Parties consultant, and I've had nothing but good service from other consultants I know. With this chick, I'm really beginning to think I'm never going to get my jewelry.

Please only answer if you have had a lia sophia party, no spamming please.

  • Should I take this as a good omen?

Last night I was riding in my friend's car in the back seat. She and the other passenger had the windows down while they smoked, and a random white feather flew in the window and landed directly in my hand. Should I take that as a good omen?

  • Common courtesy between females?

Okay, so I just broke up with someone, and my stepmother/best friend called me about an hour ago to ask me to meet her somewhere. I got there like five minutes later to see my ex sitting near her. He kinda glared at me for the few minutes I remained in his view, and then I left. Now... I'm new to this whole dating world, but isn't there some sort of womanly code that necessitates warning someone when their new ex is going to be somewhere where they asked you to meet them?

  • How should I break up with my boyfriend?

I started dating this guy about a month ago. I didn't even really like him that much. He was a friend that I had only known for a couple weeks, and I was just feeling lonely. I mean, I'm 19 years old, in love with guy that doesn't love me back, and this is the first guy to ever ask me out. So I took the chance. Come to find out, the guy has some drug addictions, he's mildly abusive toward me, as my mom and best friend say, he doesn't respect me or my space, and he continues to push me on us having sex. We're both virgins, and he doesn't want to be anymore. I'm not ready to not be. So I've decided to break up with him.

I'm apprehensive of doing it over the phone, but scared to death of doing it in person, because I don't know what he would do if I broke up with him. Somehow I don't see it being a peaceful break-up. I don't know what to do, but I can't put it off any longer. Can anyone help me?

  • Is the Coby 4GB MP3 player any good?

I had a Philips GoGear Vibe before, and I loved it, but it got stolen, so I'm looking for a similar MP3 player to replace it with. I'm on a small budget of $40 or less, so getting the BEST isn't what I'm looking for. I saw the Coby on Walmart, cheaper at another local store, is well within my budget, but I'm not sure if I should get it. Basically, all I need to know is: Does it work okay? Will it quit working a month after I buy it? If not, can you suggest another brand of MP3 that would work better within my budget?

Remember, I'm not looking for the best, I'm just looking for something that will play my music for me.

  • My dad found a 5 koneek coin minted 2005. What is it worth?

Today while sorting through change, my dad found a strange coin. I looked it up and found that it is a Russian koneek coin, 5 koneek, 2005. He wants to know how much it is worth. We're starting a coin collection for my siblings, we just want to know about what we are giving them.

  • We might have to give my dog away, I'm worried about her new owners.?

We got a beautiful pit bull puppy about two months ago, she's four months old now, and due to our situation we may have to give her away, because we need to move into an apartment. She's very well behaved, she pulls a bit on walks, but when dogs behind fences bark at her, she would either ignore them, or leave it be when I corrected her for responding.

The people across the street also have a pit bull, a male that they hope to breed. They said they'll take her to breed her. I'm hesitant, because I don't know them real well, and dog fighting is pretty bad in the area. They asked to take her for an hour or two to socialize her with their dog. This was done when my stepmom was home alone, so she said sure, and they took her.

They brought her back after awhile, and that was that. Yesterday. Today I went to take her on a walk, with my stepmother and my baby brother. Every time dogs started barking at her, she went wild, tried to wiggle out of her collar, tried to get the other dogs and nothing I tried would stop her until we were about a block away from the dogs. This is the first time she's ever done this, and the only two things different from other times were one: she went across the street for a couple hours, and two: the baby was with us.

This behavior makes me very scared to give her to these people, and they want her again for socializing tonight. She has NEVER done this before, and I don't want her to end up a fighting dog, I'd have her put down first. But my dad and stepmom aren't taking my worries seriously.

Do you think I am being irrational, or do you think my worries are well founded?

  • I have an almost three year old sister who won't take her medicine?

My little sister Charlie is almost three years old. We've all been really sick lately, and went to the doctor a couple days ago. He prescribed some antibiotics for Charlie, this pink liquid stuff, but we can't get her to take it unless it is by force. We've tried guilt-trips, time-out until you take it, if you take it you get soda/ice cream/a turn at your new Dora game. Nothing is working. She sat in time-out for 20 minutes rather than take it. I really don't know what to do, and Charlie's resistance is really upsetting my stepmom. Can you help?
