I have been studying God's Word the Bible fervently for over 5 years. 3 of which with the very ones I once vehemently opposed, but now know them as God's people, Jehovah's Witnesses! I bounced around a bit within Christendom as I couldn't find any that didn't teach manmade doctrines. I tried very hard to understand the Trinity and I tried to speak in tongues. It was these that lead me to investigate and eventually what opened my eyes to who Babylon the Great really is. I studied with Baptists, Catholics, Church of God, Penecostals, LDS, and Seventh Day Adventists in my quest for the truth. It wasn't until I realized the ones I kept praying for God (as I did not know him as Jehovah) to send me were the very ones I kept turning away. One I day I decided to ask THEM what THEY believed. That's when I learned that those in the Churches misinformed me of Jehovah's Witnesses. I've never looked back since. I won't be baptized at this year's DC unfortunately but it is still my main focus.
Did you know that I have great news on the search for my son?
We found him and made contact with him yesterday!!! He was shocked and surprised a bit. My mother said he seemed overwhelmed by it all.
My mother and aunt will be spending a couple of hours with him when he gets out of school today (in the next hour or so). He has already asked when we would come out to see him.
His mother was stringing us along. According to his adoptive parents they adopted him when he was 8 years old after he had been bounced around to a few different foster homes. The state took her parental rights away and she lied to them about who his biological father was. So they just found this out for themselves yesterday. That's good news for me as that gives me grounds to challenge the adoption but I will leave that up to my son to decide.
The family is involved with Christendom so I want to see how this will turn out as I am making it known to him that I worship Jehovah God.
I have an address to write to him now but I will ask that we give him a couple of weeks to let all this set in and then my friends can write to him.

practicing it in private? People would be permitted to practice the religion of their choice but only in private homes and maybe a place of worship? Make it illegal for them to publicly proselytize unless someone came to them?
Anyone that was associated with being religious could not run for office (as it would be impossible for a religious person to not let their religion to influence them to some degree)?

There are many people throughout the world who see religion as the biggest instigator for war. Many of the wars throughout world history have been fought for religious causes and I have met a lot of people who have said that the world would be a better place without religion.
So what do you think, if the world's major powers could come to an agreement to eradicate the world of all religions would you support it? Make all religions illegal?

Jesus said that the TRUE WORSHIPERS would worship the FATHER?
John 4:
23 Nevertheless, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the true worshipers will worship the Father with spirit and truth, for, indeed, the Father is looking for suchlike ones to worship him.
In the same passage Jesus calls the FATHER "God" (verse 24). Jesus then made the declared "openly" that he was the MESSIAH (verses 25 & 26).
So are those that worship Jesus not true worshipers since they are not worshiping the Father?
Should we not worship the Father just as JESUS said we should if we are to consider ourselves true worshipers?
NOTE: I am not asking you about anyother verses so DO NOT post them. The question is in regards to ONLY THIS passage (John 4:19-26) and how can anyone justify their worship of Jesus the Christ (Christ=Messiah).

"I and the Father are one." --John 10:30
Trinitarians use this verse as a prooftext that Jesus claimed to be God and apart of the Trinity.
My question is why did he neglect to mention the Holy Spirit then?
Why didn't Jesus say, "I and the Father and the Holy Spirit are one?"

Meaning, do you think that you are saved in the same way traditional "Christians" say that they are saved?
Can you just "believe" on the Lord Jesus Christ and have "assurance" that you are saved?

In removing God's name from the Bible? Then Christendom claims that Jehovah's Witnesses are "adding" to God's Word the Bible when they RESTORED his name to it? Christendom "took away" from it. That is why JWs RESTORED the name of God.
How can they in good faith accept their versions of the Bible and then accuse Jehovah's Witnesses of tampering with the Bible by RESTORING something that was originally there to begin with?

A person, on one of my questions, says that he asks this question of Jehovah's Witnesses everytime they come to his door. So would one of Jehovah's Witnesses please show why they do not do these things?

What prophecy is being fulfilled in this faithful CHRISTIAN organization by following Jesus' command?
Does this command include going house to house? What scriptural proof is there for this?
Did the Apostles, Jesus' own disciples, go from house to house? If so where in the Bible can someone find this?
Why do not ALL Christians do this? If they do not do this are they following Jesus or opposing him? Is there any scripture in the Bible that gives an example of the difference of those who act on Jesus' command and those who disobey it?
