In Galatians 5:16, Paul admonishes Christians to walk by the Spirit to avoid living out the desire of the flesh. If you are a believer, you have been baptized by the Spirit into the Body of Christ. The Spirit dwells in you, even though you still might not know everything you need to know about the Spirit's power and influence in your life.

To receive the benefits of walking in the Spirit, living in the Spirit, being guided by the Spirit, you must be fully alive in the Spirit, living your life by His guidance each day.

The more consistently you are filled with the spirit, the faster you will grow in your faith. The less filled you are, the slower your growth in your faith. So the fastest way to get from where you are to where you were meant to be is to learn to live a Spirit-filled life. God gave us the Holy Spirit because it is impossible for us to live the Christian life on our own. With the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, we can be spiritually awake and wise. Have you asked the Holy Spirit to fill and control your life today? He will if you ask Him.

When we look at Christ we are reminded of the true way to be human. The answer lies there in His example.

We bear the image of what we worship. If you worship God you reflect, or bear His image. If however, you have been seduced by the gods of this world (sex, money, and power) you will bear their image. We are made to be image bearers, it is a human necessity, the same as it is for a bee to pollinate. So, looking at your life, in truth what image do you bear?

I already know the answer, I am just wondering if you have found it, and, where your comfort lies. Just opening discussion.

I have been asked this question and have searched in vain. I have never found anything in the Bible that addresses this, any constructive help would be welcomed.
