The electrician changed a lamp in my living room to one that is made all of metal. There is 5 hallogen little lamps connected to it.

I had to add the decoration to the lamps, but each time i'm standing on the ladder to place the lamp decoration I get a static shock, not a big shock, but enough to wonder why it is doing that.

Does it mean the lamp is not properly grounded? Because as far as I could understand is that the easiest way to the ground for the lamp would be through my body, so that means the lamp is not properly grounded?

I just bought an IBM x345 8670 model M1X .

It says that i can put up to a max of 8 gb of ram. I do not understand since the processors are i386 and can only support 32 bits OS. (That's what ubuntu 64 bits told me)

So is it 4 gb of ram PER processor for a total of 8gb?

I presently have 4 gb ram, if I upgrade to 8 gb (4x2gb), will the OS work with all of it or only 3.5 to 4gb?

I have a 25 feet video (yellow) component cable that goes from my receiver to my projector. It appears that there is some noise on the screen. Can you please tell me if I amplify the output of my receiver with an amplifier will it reduce the noise? If no, what should I have to reduce the noise? If yes, do you have a schematic of an amplifier or whatever module that reduces the noise.

Je me suis réveiller semaine dernière avec 2 piqures groupées sur le torse , une isolée dans le dos et une entre les doigts. Je soupçonne des punaises de lit.

Voici ma question. Si la punaise a la chance de piquer a chaque nuit, le fera-t-elle? Puisque je n'ai rien changé de place dans ma chambre et je n'ai toujours pas eu de nouvelles piqures. Ça l'aurait pu etre des moustiques...

J'ai cherché taches de sang et mue sur mes draps, pas de taches de sang, mais je ne sais a quoi ressemble les mues meme apres avoir vu des photos, puisque le chien aurait pu ramener des résidus dans le lit.

Même si ce n'est pas une infestation, vont-elles sortir a chaque nuit?

PS: J'ai fait une inspection visuelle tel que montré sur des vidéos youtube et je n'ai rien trouvé dans les coutures de matelas...

PPS : Et les piqures on démangé que le matin même si ça peut aider...

I have 6 files : 230_00_00.pdf 231_00_00.pdf 232_00_00.pdf 233_00_00.pdf 234_00_00.pdf 235_00_00.pdf

I want those files to class themselves in their respective folder. I want the 230 to go in the 230 folder, etc... How can I do it? Thank you. I have more than 6 files and 6 folders to class, so I don't want to manually write a path for each one. the files are all together, the folder too. Thank you again

In each of those 6 folders, i want a folder called 00

Now I know I could cd 222 and do a mkdir 00, but I want the smallest program possible... What should I do next...? Thank you

When I plug my ps3 with HDMI to the converter, then a vga male from the converter to the projector, it detects the signal, but doesnt show anything. I've tried playing with PS3 video options (480p, 720p,1080i,1080p) and still nothing. Can someone please tell me what am I doing wrong?

I have a ps3 and I would like to connect it to the projector but the only way i can see is by vga (the projector has a vga female entry) and my ps3 has HDMI.

My question is, would this cable give me 1080p resolution. Because I don't understand since my ps3 is numerical and vga is analog I can't see how this cable would work...

Hi, so I've been maxing out that computer for about 4-5 years and the computer stopped by itself today and it smell like something burnt. Actually when I press the power button the power supply fan starts, the cpu fans start and the computer fan starts but only for 1/2 second then nothing happens. I removed the motherboard's little battery and when its connected to 120v there's a green LED on my motherboard so I doubt my motherboard died. Actually I think its the cpu , am I right? (btw I can't access the boot menu only the fans starts for about 1/2 seconds so i cant do anything...
