Why is it that toothpaste can easily fall off of the brush...?
...and/or out of your mouth. But, it sticks to the sink just like glue?
2 AnswersDental1 decade agoBy how much will the next President really affect your life?
A few months ago:
One man stated, "(he) would bring faith back to the country."
Another stated, "(he) would bring jobs to the country."
Can the president really create jobs in industry? Other than the way Roosevelt did in the '30s? (Note: This was by the government spending lots of money for public works projects).
How can the president really affect our day-to-day lives? How could one person bring faith in God to to you personally? These things are really up to each individual.
I also don't believe we have a jobs problem. Instead, we have a skilled labor force problem. Yes, unskilled labor (manufacturing) jobs are dissappearing overseas. There are still many job openings in the service sector. What we really need is more training.....or re-training for better jobs.
Look at unemployment as a function of training. It's about 8-9% for those without a HS Diploma. It's a little less than 2% for those with a BS (college degree) or higher.

Why do you think the media places so much focus on New Orleans since Katrina?
There were many other communities that were devastated. Have you heard of Kiln, MS (ground zero for landfall)?
The whole Mississippi gulf coast was wiped out during Katrina. There are people still hurting in this area too. Why don't we hear about that?
6 AnswersCurrent Events1 decade agoRO System on hard Well Water?
My brother-in-law's home is on well water witha sulfur smell and LOTS of hardness and iron. He's currently visiting hisw parent's home twice/week and filling carboys with city water from their spigot (for drinking /cooking).
I've thought of getting them an RO system for his birthday (the type that attaches under their kitchen sink). This is only for drinking/cooking water.
Does anyone out there have any recommendations or experience with these RO systems?
