  • Cysts while ovulating?

I have PCOS and have been taking 1000mg of Metformin for the last 2 years. My cycles are usually 28 to 32 days long. I usually ovulate on day 17 or 19. About a year ago I was having really painful cysts every month around ovulation. I would get really sharp pains in my side and a TON of EWCM that lasted as long as I had the pain.

This month I had ewcm on cd18. Then the next day I started having the cyst pain again. It lasted untl cd 22. I had a ton of ewcm the whole time. So I'm wondering when I ovulated. We had sex on cd15 and 21. We were out of town so couldn't make it happen more often. I just don't feel like it could have worked. So I really doubt I'm pregnant.

  • Is my luteal phase too short?

I have 28-32 day cycles. I think I usually ovulate around day 17 although often it is day 19. Does this mean my luteal phase is too short?

  • Ok, help me out with these names.?

I have the hardest time finding names I like. Our 2 year old daughter is named Amelia Dannielle, we call her Aimee. If we have a boy we will name him Jonah Michael.

Originally we wanted to give all our boys J names, and all our girls A names. Now I really don't know if I care to or not. Tell me what you think about that.

I like the name Alyssa. I used to like Allison with Allie for short. Now I don't really like it but my husband loves it. With either name we would use Kay for the middle name after my husbands Mom.

Now I think I like the name Clarissa, Clair or Clara for short. What are your thoughts?

And of course, as I said in an earlier question. I like the name Clea Grace. But my husband HATES it. Sad day for me.

  • What do you think of the name Clea?

I've been racking my brain trying to find a girls name that I like. Then I came across the name Clea. I can't even find a meaning for the name much less very many people with the name Clea. What do you think of the name? Also, I like names that I can shorten. So can you think of anything that Clea could be short for?

My 2 year old Daughters name is Amelia Dannielle, we call her Aimee. We know if we have a boy we would name him Jonah Michael. So there's the background info for ya.

  • What do you think about laboring down?

Laboring down (for those of you not familiar with the term) is when the cervix is not quite dilated. But is almost to 10cm (usually just a little lip of cervix left). Generally your body is ready to push but because of the little lip of cervix left the doctor makes you wait to push for fear that the cervix will swell and get in the way.

When I was in labor with my daughter I was past transition and my body was pushing whether I wanted it to or not. However because of the little bit of cervix left I was told not to push for almost an hour.

I wonder if this method is really necessary. In the past and in many countries and births where there is no one checking the cervix, the woman pushes when she feels the need to. That is what makes me wonder why we have to be put through laboring down.

  • What bottle system is best for newborns?

I breastfed my daughter and didn't use bottles until she was 6 months old. I had a breast reduction and won't be able to nurse my next baby. So my question is what bottle, or bottles are best for a newborn who is only formula fed?

  • Who here has gotten pregnant from having sex a few days before their period?

I know it's a long shot. But I thought I was going to start my period so we went ahead and had sex without a condom. Then I didn't start for another four days. I had a normal period and now 18 days later I am having a lot of cramping, sore boobs, and am nauseous. I honestly feel like I did when I was first pregnant with my daughter.

I know it could be nothing but I'm just curious who has gotten pregnant this way.

  • Does it sound like I'm pregnant or something else?

I tried not to ask the stupid am I pregnant question but no one was answering so oh well. Anyway, sorry this is long but I needed to talk about it and I really hope someone can give me some insight or personal experience.

We have been using condoms as we are trying not to get pregnant but lately my husband forgets or puts off putting them on until about half way through. I know, not very smart. Anyway, I had my daughter 14 months ago and for the last 6 months my cycle has been regular. Usually 28 to 30 days long at the most. I've been tracking my CM and am pretty sure I ovulated on cycle day 20. (Usually I ovulate anywhere from day 16 to 20). We had sex the next day and if I remember right went almost the whole time before I remembered the condom.

Anyway, now I'm on cycle day 36 so I'm almost a week late. At first I wasn't having any symptoms except slight cramping. A few days in I had severe pelvic pain for 2 hours. I was about to go to the hospital when it just went away. Since then I've been having new symptoms almost daily. Now I have tender breasts (although not nearly as much as with my first pregnancy), some cramping, nausea, smells make me sick, back ache, and exhaustion. Part of me really wonders if these are all just in my head though.

I've taken 3 tests although the last one was 2 days ago. They were all negative. I'm taking another one in the morning so I can be sure I did it right. I tried to get a doctor appointment but they are all full. I'm supposed to have a consultation for breast reduction surgery in 2 weeks and I've been waiting for months to get to this appointment. So I really need to know what the heck is going on! I'm so tired of not knowing. I think at this point I've talked myself into believing I'm pregnant but who knows.

Anyway thanks for reading, I really needed to get that all of my shoulders. Any suggestions or opinions would be greatly appreciated since this is all I can think about.

  • What were the differences in your pregnancies with different genders?

Did you notice different symptoms or less of certain ones and more of others?

  • How did your 2nd pregnancy differ from your 1st?

Mostly I'm wondering about the beginning of your second (or any subsequent pregnancy's). Did your boobs hurt as much? Did they grow as much?

My daughter is 14 months old and I am almost a week late for my period. I've been feeling some slight cramping, and a tiny bit of tenderness in my boobs. But it doesn't seem to be as much as with my daughter. All my tests are coming back negative so I'm going to see a doctor next week. But in the meantime I am looking for any info I can get.

  • Who has been pregnant without symptoms?

I'm starting to get a little freaked out right now. My period is a few days late. I've had a little bit of bloating and only a tiny bit of cramping. With my last pregnancy I had nausea, cramps, was tired, emotional, etc.

I'm still hoping I will get my period soon and I plan on taking a test in the morning. I'm just wondering if anyone else has been symptom free and turned out to be pregnant.

  • How many kids do you want to have?

I used to think I wanted 4 or 5. Now that I actually have 1, I wonder if I really want that many or if I'm kidding myself. Now I think I want 3 or 4 but we'll see what happens.

Mos of my friends either only want 2, or want are pregnant with their 3rd. So I'm wondering, how many kids does the average Mom want now. And I'm hoping the answer isn't just 2.2.

  • Which name would be better?

I'm starting an Etsy store with my Grandma and Great Aunt. We will make and sell baby products like carseat covers, bibs, blankets, clothes, etc. Which name do you like better? Grandma's gifts or From Grandma, with love.

  • What should I name my online baby store?

I'm starting an Etsy store with my Grandma and Great Aunt. We will make and sell baby products like carseat covers, bibs, blankets, clothes, etc. I need a cute catchy name for the store though. I'm hoping to have it include the word Grandma in the title. Any ideas?

  • What are some good online jobs to do from home?

I need a job that I can do completely online. I have a toddler so need it to be flexible to fit my changing schedule. Are there any no gimmick sites I can check out?

  • When is my daughter a toddler?

I'm realizing the newborn and baby section doesn't really apply to us anymore. My daughter just turned one and is walking. So does that mean she is technically a toddler? Or is there a specific age?

  • Is it normal to have 2 due dates this far apart?

Since the beginning of my cousin's pregnancy she has been saying her due date was December 5th. It is now December 14th and the doctor is saying he won't induce her before 39 weeks. I am so confused. She still says her due date was the 5th and this is her second baby so I thought she understood the whole pregnancy thing better. She was hoping the doctor would induce her November 30th so the baby could be born on her birthday. But she would have only been 36 weeks then so I don't see why she thought she should be induced. The only explanation I am getting is that originally she was given the due date and then had it changed at her ultrasound.

  • I'm ready to have another baby but my body isn't?

I'm overweight and really want/need a breast reduction before getting pregnant again. But It seems like such a hard long process. I'm torn between getting pregnant and trying to eat and exercise correctly and hopefully losing weight (healthily and with a doctors care) during the pregnancy. Or putting off a baby for another year (or more) and getting the surgery. What would you do? Once you got baby fever again were you able to hold off?
