1 AnswerInsurance7 years agodo you have fleas? i am sure more folk have them but don't realise it!?
probably cat flea but susceptible. probably had them for years - occupational hazard! horror at realisation but they are masters of biological warfare. they fight back by biting harder and probably injecting the external only preparations you use on them. you soon realise how limited insecticides are, they seem to be nearly indestructible and you can waste a lot of money on sprays, pills, collars. wiping with salt water and washing-up liquid just as effective.
the magot is tiny white with brown head. the young adults are tinier and skin colour so camouflaged. then become hard, black the size of a font 8 feint full stop this is the killer stage when you can see a 3 mm insect they are as good as dead. they live on crumbs, debris. when you wash you are like fresh meat. they learn to hide in your skin pores in baths and showers and hold on longer for the longer time in the bath. they like you clean but if you try to be dirty they don't bother to get off to lay eggs and leave the pupa's about, you are saving them a commute. they learn to cope with preparations - vinegar as suggested by flea sites does not work, you can fumigate the house but companies can't fumigate you, you walk back in carrying the next generation. white spirit and wd40 and mineral oil doesn't work probably gives them a nice polish. they seem to give a reprieve before a next mass attack. they tell each other when you attack them. they get really everywhere on your body and on the chair you sit, the floor by the chair but not transit areas they are where you are for any length of time. they are mostly well behaved when going out, almost polite. they are sexist they don't like women, damn it the wife is safe!
i think i have lost the war. but i will get a truce when the weather changes and in britain that won't be long.
if you stand too close i will willingly share, why should i be alone. i don't like to be selfish. unfortunately i think you are safe i am obviously too sweet a host preferring me even to the cat who seems to have less trouble or like all cats put on a good show.
thank goodness for the industrial revolution - the vacuum, the steam mop, the washing machine, plumbing. i don't think i am alone all the neighbours have had their sheets on the line twice a week!

4 AnswersAir Travel8 years agoRover were given to BMW to free the British Government from any further responsibility. Why couldn't they be s?
sold as separate badges for production in UK? Rover were given to British Aerospace with specific instruction to completely rid the main (troubled) production. Honda were favourites as they had already heavily invested but was interested in a continued Government stake. So BMW were chosen. Doesn't matter what party British Gov has sold out on British Industry. They only represent vested interests not the nation.

4 AnswersComputer Networking9 years agoWould we have got democracy, a more free world, science, secularism without prophets?
God always reinvents itself, metaphysics is stronger than physics in the human mind, human intelligence is automatic science we do it but we dont think about it. atheists, agnostics, secularists reinvent god in their anger, big bang, god particles, mathematics whereas ideas of gods push phylosophies and alternatives from our animal culture prison of the capital pyramid scheme
