  • my cat opened her wound a bit from her spay surgery that happened one week ago...?

it looks like it's getting infected because she's been LICKING it while i'm away at school during the day. she's been really pissing me off about it!! she's an outdoor cat, but she's only been allowed outside from 7am-5pm. i'm not sure if i should take her to the vet AGAIN, but it does look like it's getting infected. i've been putting some over the counter anti bacterial over the wound with a q-tip and i have a blow-up safety collar for her but i know it's only going to get worse. what to do?

  • huh. pain during sex? suuuurre...why not?

I was on birth control pills for half a year and skipped a month because of of prescription issues. I started again one month later on the same prescription and about one week or so into taking the pill again me and my boyfriend were having sex. Everything was fine until I felt an absolutely SHARP pain that felt like it was coming from my cervix. It got so bad that I made him stop. After that i felt my whole pelvis area tighten and cramp up. I even got RADIATING pain and cramping around my whole urogenital area for a good 30 minutes. Needless to say, I had to take a nap to ease the pain and my boyfriend was disappointed :(( I figure the pill was affecting my cervix, but I can't really find a specific explanation. This has never happened to me, AND it only happened that one instance. What do you think??

  • can you get pregnant on your first period pill of birth control?

by "period pill" i mean the first of seven day period pills offered by conventional birth control pills when you finish the one month cycle of the hormone pills. i'm curious because the egg is essentially released when you finish the cycle of pills and start taking the seven-day pills to complete the month with your period.
