  • If you got drunk and were issued a trespass would you go back to the same place and risk being arrested before?

I know someone who got drunk and acted like an idiot threatening a manager at a local night spot. The police trespassed him for a year. He returned to the same location BEFORE the trespass expired thus subjecting him to arrest. If this were you and your wife's work invited you to a dinner. Would you go and possibly be arrested? Why or Why not please give reasons so I can show them the error of their ways!

  • Does anyone else see the hypocrisy in the charges against Obama?

McCain has stated Obama is a traitor for serving on a committee with Ayers (Who committed crimes when Obama was 8 years old which Obama has since condemned his actions). Cindy McCain has also accused Obama of voting against funding the troops, too bad she did not mention that her husband also voted against the same bill. Obama voted against it because it did not contain a timeline for an exit strategy. McCain voted against it because it did.

Does it seem like there are two different standards?

  • Does anyone Think That the Florida legislature Screwed Up?

Does anyone think that the Florida Legislature acted in the best interest of ALL the people of the State of Florida by subsidizing the coastal homeowners? They forced the insurance companies to limit what they can charge the High-Risk coastal home owners. This requires all the other homeowners in Florida to pay most of the cost for the coastal homeowners insurance.

Not only does it subsidize the coastal homeowners but it has the opposite effect of what the Legislators "claimed" they wanted to do which was lower all of Floridian's insurance rates. Instead, most insurance companies have dropped ALL insurance policies in Florida. So if you can even get a home-owners policy, it is very limited as to the coverage and it very expensive!

If they would let the insurance companies charge all homeowners an appropriate fee for the level of risk of the property. The legislators need to require insurance companies to include coverage for flooding, wind and hurricane damage in every policy!

  • Is the reason people vote for unqualified politicians, because of personal attacks and "hot button" issues?

It seems that our leaders in the White House, Congress and Other positions are becoming less and less qualified. Many qualified candidates are destroyed because of their view on "Hot Button" issues and their stances on these issues. In the grand scheme of things, these issues are not that important. They are however quite divisive and makes everyone forget about what we should actually look for in a representative.
