I've got a terrible cold. My son's ball python died today. Yesterday the kids were diagnosed with lice--at a Girl Scout meeting. My plumbing exploded today in the downstairs bathroom, spewing out black gunk all over the place. I lost a check for $168. Yarg. Some weeks it seems like it would be better to stay in bed! Share your crapola week with me!

My friend has had it for years, and generally takes good care of her things. She is very organized. She says the canvas is in good shape. What should I consider and look for when I look at it? She only wants $200 for it, so that's a really good deal, unless I'm going to have to spend a fortune fixing it up. I'll have to have a tow package put on my Toyota mini-van as it is.

I am signed up for a course this summer, and I'm really looking forward to it. What to expect?

Different animals, I know, but if you've done all three, which did you prefer? Why?

It's a four season tent, and I found it really made a difference keeping me warm this winter. What other brands of tent do you like? I'm afraid I'm going to turn into a tent collector. Actually, the Walrus is my only really good tent. I have a nice Eureka, but my kids lost the poles!

In 2011, we'll probably head to the Grand Canyon, from Ohio. Any suggestions on routes, and overnight camping stay places? Clean, safe, family oriented tent camping, please. Suggestions on things to see on the way welcome, too. Like, the worlds biggest ball of yarn, or whatever. Thanks!

We're probably going next summer. Money is definately an object. Nice, safe tent camping area, please. And yeah, since I'm going with my Girl Scout Troop, flush toilets and showers would be nice.

We will start in London, at Pax Lodge. I want us to see all the good stuff the locals think is good, rather than what a tour guide might drag us to. What do you suggest? I'd also like to take the group up to Scottland to see some castles, and...stuff. I'd like to go by train. Also, I was debating between getting from the US to UK by plane or by ship. I've never been across the "pond", so advice welcome. Thanks!

It says shut off some processes, or programs, or something like that, but I can't figure out what's running. I don't have anything open. Obviously, my understanding of this thing is minimal...I mostly word process.

Something that happened to you and your troop when you took them camping.

This usually happens when he/she is getting ready to shed. But his/her eyes are very clear, with no sign of impending shedding. Hasn't eaten in nearly four weeks. We keep putting the mouse in, and he/she ignores it. Then we take it back out so it won't harm the snake! Monty, the snake, looks otherwise healthy. Any ideas?

Rescue Shih Tzu, probably a brood ***** before coming to us, very nice, but can't seem to housebreak her.

She had the whole shampoo/anti-skunk thing. But it keeps coming out again. Urg.
