Im 16 and my mum's best friend who shes known for 17 years has just took her own life.

My mum suffers from clinical depression and has done for about 20 years.

My mums depression makes her drink alot and sleep alot, she has not got an alcohol problem but she does get carried away when she is very low.

My dad died 5 years ago which made my mum extremely ill, not eating, always sleeping, not talking, crying, drinking alot but in the last year she has just started to become alot better, shes going out with her friends, volunteer's in an old peoples home and even started seeing a man but its nothing serious yet.

Last night my best friends mum who has been my mums best friend for 17 years, killer her self. She had been suffering as an alcoholic and hadn't had a drink for 8 months, until this friday where she drank through-out the weekend.

My mum is now very very down, crying and im so close to her but i just dont know how to help her, i love her best friend like a mum to, but im trying so hard not to get upset because that makes my mum even more upset.

My mum has been crying all day and has only just started to get angry at her friend for doing this and leaving her children.

Please someone help me how to get my mum feeling better and for her to not go into a very low depression.

My mum is on anti depressants and so am i, please help im so scared for her and hate seeing her upset.

Ive been on anti depressants for about 11 months now, and im going away in 3 weeks, so about 2 weeks ago i went from 40g of prozac to 60g (so i take 3 instead of two)

i did this because part of my depression is being very clingy to my mum, im 16 and i want to be by her side 24/7

but the only way for me to see my friends is if i fly out and stay with them for about 3 weeks, so i thought if i took more anti depressants i would get alot better?

Is this safe?

Ok so im getting a blackberry tomorrow, and i go on holiday alot to spain, so i need to know if i can use it in spain if i unlock it? but what i dont understand is that when you unlock it does that mean that sim can be used anywhere or just the phone and you get another chip? so if i unlocked the blackberry can i just use it in spain or will i have to buy a spanish chip? also if i have to buy a spanish chip will i still have the same bbm? thanks

Im 16 and ive been on the pill for nearly two years because of bad period pains.

Im am not sexually active so im not using it as contraception, but im worried because if i do start being sexually active how do i take the pill so its actually working because at the moment i take them at different times everyday and miss alot of them too, so how exactly are you supposed to take them?

I doubt i will become sexually active anytime soon, but i think i just need to know.

Basically i have a small tattoo on my back, not alot of detail, just and outline, and im getting it removed on friday by the strongest laser in the north west.

Im terrified but i want rid of this tattoo so im not always hiding under clothes or covering it with hundreds of plasters.

The tattoo isn't even as big as the palm of my hand so the women said it will take only 2 mins max.

How much does it hurt? I know it hurts more than the tattoo itself, but what is the feeling like.?

Please share experiences, im terrified! :(

Ok so my friend lost had sex for the first time 3 weeks ago, they had sex 4 times in one night.

The first time was with a condom but the three others it was not. She said he did not ejaculate in her and that she cant be pregnant, but i told her that was a load of ****

Today i got her to take a pregnancy test, and it came back negative but it was a cheap one so im not to sure on the results.

Im 16 but im a virgin , so i dont understand much about it all but i just think what she did was stupid and how do i get her to undestand how risky it was.

What are the chances of a young girl getting pregnant for the first time she has sex with no contraception? thanks.

Every time i drink alcohol, no matter how little or how much i always get terrible burning pain in my lower stomach.

I don't drink often but when i do i always get these pains.

Im 16 and i know i shouldn't but i only do when im on holiday with family and friends so it is supervised.

Does anyone know why? or how to prevent/stop it?

Okay so when i was 13 loads of my friends were getting these ''temporary tattoo's'' done and so i got one, the guy told me it would fade within 12-16 months and you wouldn't even know i had one, so like 18 months later i still had it and found out it was permanent. I was so upset, i went back to the store and they had closed down, we tried to take legal action but got nothing from it.

This all happened in spain because i used to live there. So my mum found a woman who does tattoo removal, the one where you tattoo over the tattoo with a chemical that makes the ink comes to the surface and scab off, anyway, it was very painful and only got half on my tattoo done (average size star) then we have to move back to the uk because of family problems and the i tried to find someone else who will remove it but there are so many rules about it here.

So now im 16 im thinking of getting a tattoo to cover it because i was scarred badly from the removal of half the star.

I will do this in spain when i go in 3 weeks. the women who removed my tattoo has moved away so getting the rest removed is out of the question. And i want to cover the scar.

The scar is fine to tattoo over with because i talked to a tattoo artist a few days ago, but i need help with ideas for tattoos i don't just want a butterfly or heart like everyone gets, i want something abit different.

Okay so i had limewire for years but then it was under court under so i downloaded frostwire because i heard it was just like limewire.

But 9/10 times i download a song, when i play the song a computer voice starts saying ''as part of a frostwire and limewire court under blahblahblahhhhh!...

How do i now which ones are going to be like this, im going on holiday soon and want to put the songs i like on my iphone!

Ive been friends with her for 10 years, we are now both 16, we both lived in spain and went to the same school. She is from liverpool and im from manchester.

About 2 years ago i moved back to the UK.

But i was going back to spain every holiday to see her, and i would stay at her house.

When im in spain with her, we do drink and go out, but not to an extent.

About 4 months ago, she started smoking weed (she told me on facebook) but i thought she probably just tried it and is showing of abit. But then there are photos shes been tagged in and she always has a joint in her had.

Now she is also taking coke.

Im scared because i am quite rebellious, and my friends know that, so i feel like i will give it to it when she offers it to me, because i wont want to look like im scared or a ''good girl'.

Im on anti depressants so maybe i could say that i cant cause of the medication but i dont know, i just feel im will end up doing it .. help, i dont know what to do.

Im 16 and i have freckles but naturally olive skins. When im in the sun i get loads of freckles on my face and i hate them because i just want skin like on the foundation adverts, where they just have perfect skin, i know its airbrushed but i just wish i didnt have freckles.

So in the winter my freckles face alot and they are hardly noticable because there is no sun (uk) and i exfoliate everyday.

But in the summer, i go to spain for a few weeks every year, and always get loads of freckles all over my face, and i hate hate HATE it!

How do i prevent them when i go in a few weeks? im allergic to any sun cream over 15 so i have to use a low factor just more often.

Will wearing suncream, then alot of foundation help stop them? cause it would be impossible to keep out of the sun and i want to tan the rest of my body and put some fake tan on my face.

please help!!

I got it done about 10 days ago, and now its starting to feel loose, and when i push the bar from the bottom the bit at the top comes out alot, and the hole looks bigger than the bar...

I dnnt really know what a belly piercing looks like when its growing out, and if it is how can i stop it?

Im 16 and ive missed 3 periods now.

I was on the contraceptive pill norimin and stopped for my 7 day break about 4 months ago.

But because i didnt get my period, i didnt want to start a new pack until i did.. but 4 months later i still havent got it and havent been on the pill either.

Nothing has changed like my diet, sleep, stress nothing has changed at all, im not doing any more or lessexercisee than before.

I am a normal weight for my age and height.

I am a virgin so im NOT pregnant.

My hips, legs , ankles ,back and shoulders hurt like hell and im getting alot of headaches.

Ive told my mum but she says its nothing to worry about and it will come... but seriously.. 4 months!

Im so uncomfortable and my stomach feels very bloated.

What can i do? Has this happened to anyone you know? Is it normal?

I was babysitting last night for a family who have 3 children. 6 month old baby girl, 3 year old boy and a 13 year old boy.

Im 16 and know the mother of these children through my mums work.

When i arrived, the house was very dark, dirty and smelly, but i didn't judge because she has 3 kids, it must be hard.

The mother told me that the baby's food was on the kitchen table in a jar and a spoon. She then told me there was dinner for the two boys on the kitchen counter,

Once the mother left, i went straight to change the baby nappy because it was very full, heavy and wet.

When i had done that, i took her back downstairs and put her in her high chair for her dinner. I picked up the tin of baby food and read the label. It said do not leave out of the refrigerator more than 30 minutes, and if it reaches room temperature to discard off. So i opened the tin to see if it was room temperature and when i looked in i saw that the edges of the tin were starting to get mouldy, the food had clumped together and it was out of date by 6 days. So no way was i going to give her that, so i got her bottle that her mother left on the side for her before she goes to bed, but when i took the lid of it smelt very sour and so i made the baby another formula which was fine.

I then put the baby in her cot and rocked her to sleep. Once she was asleep i went downstairs to give the boys their dinner, when i looked under the cloth the plates were under, there was 3 chocolate rolls, 2 packets of crisps and a slice of turkey that again looked out of date. So i threw away the turkey and looked in the fridge to see if i could make them a proper meal. But there was nothing but beer in the fridge and mold all over.

So the boys had to eat the crisps and chocolate and im guessing this is what they usually have for dinner which is terrible.

I then put the 3 year old to bed and sit in the room with the baby because she was coughing in her sleep. I got a phone call from the mother telling me she wont be long.

At about 1:30 in the morning i hear the mother and father come in. They both sounded very drunk. They went to their bedroom which is were the baby's cot is and then i went into the room i was staying in.

A few minutes later, i hear the mother scream and cry telling the father to get off her, the i heard a slap. Then the father shouts don't bite me you stupid b**** and then i hear the mother run to the stairs and the father grab her a push her against the wall, im guessing by the throat because she was gasping loudly, they then were fighting on the stair case and then i heard things smash and another slap sound.

The baby then starts crying and i tried to go and get her but as i opened the door the father ran past and went into the bedroom where she was crying, he started screaming and shouting at the baby to shut up.

I was in tear in the bedroom i was in because i then heard the 3 year old start crying and he got screamed at to.

This went on for hours and i left at six in the morning. I did not get paid because i just wanted to get out of there.

Do you think i should contact social services? will they do anything?

Also they have two cats her are extremely underweight and they have knots bigger than my hand very close to their skin.

The whole situation is very upsetting and i feel i need to do something.

I ordered a 40 pound dress about 8 days ago. The estimated day of delivery was the 23rd. Its now the 27th and now dress. I have asked the seller for the tracking number which she gave me. So i typed it into royal mail track and trace but it says there are no records of this item. So i called up and gave them the number over the phone and again, there was no trace of the item.

I have told the seller about the trouble i am having and she is useless, just telling me she handed it over to the royal mail and it was no longer her responsibility!

What do i do! i paid 40 pounds for this dress and i am getting very fed up!

when i bid for an item , if i loose do i still have to pay? sorry never used eay before so im not very good at it all!

I ordered a very expensive dress about a week ago along with some jewellery,from separate sellers, i got an email the next day after ordering my jewelry had been shipped, but never got this message for the dress, i have a tracking number for the dress but when i searched for it on the royal mail website it said it didn't exist? im so worried i spent loads of money on this dress for a holiday, please help.. what do i do?

I am trying to find some high heels that are 6 inches or more, but i cant find any ? that highest i find is 5 inches.. anyone know where i can buy higher ones? thanks x
