  • Will dry ice damage my crockpot?

This is for my class float. We want to hook the crockpot up to the converter and then keep the water for the fog warm with the crockpot. Will the dry ice ruin my corckpot?

  • What do you think about that 14 year old who spoke at CPAC?

He is amazing! He is being interviewed right now and really knows what he's talking about. Not just copying his parents' views.

  • Who's responsible for cutting bushes on property line?

We moved into our house 3 years ago. We have a large lot, and the back of the lot is separated by a long row of tall bushes that are our property. These bushes span 3 neighbor's yards. The bushes have become a real problem. They're great for the privacy aspect, but they require major trimming 2 times a year. They get to about 12 feet tall, and get heavy so they fall forward in all directions into our yard and their yards. We do not feel comfortable just going into their yards and trimming them (which is about a 4 hour job) We've done it before, and it's not fun dealing with the stares. But when they start hanging down, and we haven't gotten to them yet, the neighbors gripe to each other and we start hearing all sorts of comments. I realize we are responsible for the bushes, but are we in the right going onto their property, or should they just trim their sides when they start getting long? We can't see into their yards, so we really don't know what the bushes are covering or obstructing on their side.

  • How can I get rid of fleas after using many flea control products?

We have 2 dogs and 3 cats. The dogs obviously brought fleas in the house, we treated them, and they seem to be fine. The fleas now seem to prefer the cats. We have used 3 in 1 sprays on the cats to kill the fleas and eggs. We have put them (bodies only) under water for 10 minutes at a time to drown the fleas. Which works for the fleas that are currently on them. We have removed all bedding, vacuum twice a day, spray all furniture and carpets every few days. Every once in a while, we still see a flea on the cats, and now the fleas seem to want to jump on a human once in a while. Does that mean that the treatments are working, and they're not getting what they need off of the cats when they bite them? I have to think that even though they are still laying eggs, the eggs are not viable, and hopefully won't hatch? I'd like to use Frontline on the cats for further and longer protection (hopefully a last ditch effort). I am wondering if it's safe to do that, as I sprayed the cats a week ago.
