7 AnswersHealth Care7 years agoBoyfriend/Break Up advice needed! if you can be asked to read it....!!!?
I am a 33 year old lady who has been with a 40 year old guy for 18 years (split for 9 months in 2009 when he met someone else then came grovelling back!). i need some advice on how to deal with breaking up. Since he came back into my life things have never been the same. We've had many dramatic moments in the last 3 years, but it came to a head last week.
He seems to be going through a mid-life crisis as he's not happy with his life. He delivers chicken/kebabs for a living, doesnt have his own home, and his pile of crap old car which has been giving problems since this February, he's also very overweight/fat and therefore dissatisfied with his lot! nevertheless, i love him so much and always try to encourage him and build up his confidence.
Lately, he goes out every friday and saturday with single friends, and I only see him if theyre not around. he never used to do this and it doesnt allow us to spend much time together, as we're working all week and he always gets up late, like after midday when he's been out the night before.
Anyway, i'll get to the point! I was given a nice new reg car by my mum who emigrated recently. I dont have a licence yet, so i thought he could use it while I sort myself out. he agreed to this and changed his insurance details and put new tax on it. However, last week, I asked him if I could use his internet as my computer was on the blink and he told me no!! a simple thing, but this shocked me. I left it then a couple of hours later he turned up outside my house to pick me up to go and use his internet - yes he does things like this often - very confusing! I stayed at his house and the following morning we seemed cool, and he did breakfast for me.
Anyway, he dropped me home and he always seems to leave me hanging as to when we'll meet up again. He doesn't say i'll call you, do anything, it was just a matter of see you when I see you!
I was annoyed, and frustrated after that, on top of all the other bullshit, and decided straightaway to take a taxi to his flat and take the car with my spare key without even knocking his door! i sent him a text saying there's no point in leaving something thats precious to me with someone who doesnt care for me! I reimbursed him the insurance and tax money he spent by putting it in his bank account. However, now I realise what I did was out of anger and frustration and and really dont want to lose him - we have such a great bond despite all the crap! I phoned, texted and visited him house - like a **** - but he wont give me the time of day. he even drove straight past me, he's never done that before.
I reckon deep down he's jealous of my car, as he's said NUMEROUS times to sell it! or that his car drives better, or its sluggish - he was always very critical of it. he had a hard upbringing and isnt really use to nice material things and gets quite bad minded if I get anything nice. He also puts me down and is heavily critical often verging on aggressive towards me, but I just put it down to him generally feeling down about himself.
My problems is I cant get him out of my head!! hence this long yahoo answers rant and just need some advice on the best thing to do now- as I quite honestly im little scared of facing life without him, i've been with him since I was basically a kid!
4 AnswersOther - Family & Relationships9 years agoHave I done the right thing...please read on.?
Around the beginning of the year my son asked his gran-uncle to repair his laptop. He kept it so long that we almost forgot about it. A few days ago however, we all attended a family do where he had brought the laptop, but I realised that it wasn't to give back to my son, but he's been using it for himself!! he didn't say anything about returning it to my son. As it is family I thought i'd leave it as I don't want to stir anything, but I send a text message yesterday asking if it could be returned as matter of principle. He hasn't got back to me! should I leave him with it or demand it back??
8 AnswersFamily9 years agoI totally crushed and heartbroken?
Been with someone for 13 years and now he's told me he doesnt want to see me anymore. The last 18 months or so have been awful. One minute he says he doesnt want to see me, then if I ignore him, he seems to just pop round and I start acting stupid again and start calling him or going to visit him at his house. He doesnt call or text me anymore, he puts me down, and I know the relationship isnt right, but I cant get him out of my head.
I hardly see friends anymore, as I put them on backburner while I was with him. Therefore all I do is work and go home. Im so bored and lovely and really miss his company. Im also at the point of feeling suicidal, as life without him seems impossible. I just need some words of advice to try and move on and get this fat **** out of my life (yes he is really overweight -ie. 21 stone) and im 12 stone

I dont watch much TV, but as the winter nights are drawing in, I think i better get use to it. I love comedies, intelligent drama, period drama type shows, documentaries, historical shows, food type programmes
7 AnswersComedy10 years agoShould I report a ex-boyfriend for being a benefit cheat?
He works full time, claims JSA, housing benefit and council tax. He is also a jealous, nasty, emotionally abusive person. I would never do this sort of thing, but I think he deserves it.

4 AnswersComedy1 decade agoanyone gonna miss BB9 ?
I think it was the best BB and after watching it almost religiously for the past 3 months im really gonna miss it - especially Darnell (for his madness), Rex (for his bluntness), Mo (for his unintentional funniness) and Mikey (for his analysis of people).

15 AnswersReality Television1 decade agoLaters Luke - looks like your going home?
Before Becks left last week he thought he had it all sussed with his constant manipulating and two-faced behaviour. But it'll be so funny if he goes this week as it'll be a double slap in the face for the whining git.
11 AnswersReality Television1 decade agoBB9: Why would anyone want Luke to win?
Yes he's eccentric, quick witted and a bit of a comedian - but he continually moans and backstabs - whats the deal??
18 AnswersReality Television1 decade agoBB9: Dont you just love Mo?
I know many people hate him - and I do personally think he acts like an idiot at times - but he seems to be a harmless and lovely guy, with such a cute smile. As for his eating habits - okay he is greedy and if theres anything to with food he right in there - but whats so wrong with that - maybe his mum overfeeds him or something, and like many young men I bet he eats her out of house and home too, but that dont mean he should be hated. I'd love if he won it - but obviously that aint gonna happen!
15 AnswersReality Television1 decade agoBB9: Darnell's alleged aggression?
Yes he has his moments ie. shouting at Rachel (whose forgiven him), Sara (whose also forgiven him) and he kicked a few onions (totally understandable)!! but you'd think he killed somebody the way people keep talking about his aggression. and the joke about it, he's probably one of the most affectionate and loving people in the house. I know he's black, has previously been involved in gang culture, and done time for weed - ok - but dont demonise the guy - he's doing good now
