CAR WAS FLOODED UP TO THE HOOD! Charged battery, changed oil and blew out the exhaust full of mud and water, the car will start and run for a few seconds and quits, this is done with a starter switch! the key is in the on position and all the gauges work but its not starting with the key. had to pull the hd lmps fuse as the lights satayed on and all the rest of the fuses are good! swapped out ignition relays and no change. Motor acts like the mass air flow sensor may be bad but like i say i get nothing when the key is used. hooked up scanner and it took awhile and kept reading "link error" does anyone have an idea as to what it is? I myself thinks it might be the computer shorted out!

what is the ecm code 23 on this model?

car has 78,000 miles and the fuel filter was just changed 4 months ago. its a 3.8 motor w/auto trans! Wife got back fro SC WITHno problems. drove to work last night and it stalled after 7 miles of driving, it sat for 9 hrs and started right up and she made it home. I told her to leave it running with lights on til i got to it in 5 minutes. went to ck guages and car had quit! removed air filter and it started and ran even when i hi-rev'd it for a few seconds then died! Fuel pump is good and their are no fuel leaks. it ran smooth while running before dying. What should i ck and what to look for? Also has a new fuel cap as well so i dont need to hear any thing about bad cap! This happened to me a few months back while driving real slow down a hill but, it re started fine! ANY ANSWERS THAT COULD HELO ME NARROW IT DOWN WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED, THANK YOU! also this is the husband asking this question!

REMOVED RACK AND CLEANED ALL injectors and replaced, had it running like before but died out quickly! ck'd pressure valve and has fuel. Only thing i van think of is either the cam/ crank sensor is bad or the coil pack. IS there a way to ck these without buying all three items?

Replaced cam sensor and car ran real good, for awhile anyways! then the motor started to low idle and have a slight miss to it before it died again. I have good fuel delivery, good spark and the fuel filter is new! Now, what else can it be? Because its a '91, i cannot get it ck'd at the auto stores

2000 cavalier, need to remove the 4-5 " strip that goes along the inside of the windshield. it has cracked and I need to repair it ! you have the regular dashboard and then , there is another piece in front of that which is what I am needing to remove .

Also can I add rubber fuel hose in place of rusted 4 ft section towards the rear ?

I recently had an x-ray and the dr said that my c-spine is straight rather than curved. I have had bad lower back pain and now my " neck , shoulder and right side upper arm joint is also in pain , kind of like my head is way to heavy. No recent accidents or pulled/strained muscles. I do have alot of problems in the lumbar and have had a MRI. So what is wrong with my neck ?

with a good nights sleep,I awoke with pain on the right side of my right foot. I had not injured it what so ever but, as I was getting out of bed I noticed a pain before even touching the floor. The pain is primarily around the side of the foot and just below the ankle bone, It does not bother me until I try to walk, I cannot put any pressure on it and it does have pain to touch in that area.I have soaked it in both hot an cold water and no change. I am 49 yrs and have never had any injuries to this foot.I am 220 lbs , 6'0 tall and very active with out heavy loads on my feet. I CAN MOVE IT AROUND AND UP AND DOWN BUT, HAVE A REAL HARD TIME WALKING ON IT.

truck has brand new alt and batteries, the rpm's,mph and o/d does not work! two different places tried scanning but could'nt get a reading.could this be the ECM or what? have replaced the engine speed sensor correctly, now I'm thinking it might be the vehichle speed sensor ! I understand that there are alot of varibles here but, what and how to ck for most often cause of problem. oh yea, its a 1996 12 valve 6 cyl.

My wife and I APPROACHED THE pastor today and request to be baptized in the very near future. This is a methodist church and I have only attended for two weeks now! Both of us has been to church in our lives before we met,but it has been many years ago.we also have been saved early on in life "teens" -- so my question is why did the pastor say we need to go thru a 6-week class once a week before baptism takes place.is this standard regulation or what,I need a good explanation of procedure.

the vin # is v1023chb, also the other #'s there are 15s402286 this motor is in a 75 corvette and I was wondering if it is original. also what kind of HP AND TORQUE did it call for ?

have a 75 corvette 350 automatic and cannot remember how the line- dots go, crank gear dot at the top and cam gear dot at bttm facing each other or is it cam gear dot at the top also when at the compression stroke, some say top and top and others say crank at 12 and cam at 6 which is it , or do I need to remove the 1-3-5-7 valve cover.
