Hot taps in house don't work?
I have just moved house a few days ago.
I had a hot shower yesterday but the water went cold quickly. Since then all the hot taps in the house have stopped running water. Thinking there is air trapped in there but have no idea to get rid of it any ideas? The system is going to be replaced soon but at the moment is a water cylinder we plug in to heat the water.
We checked for leaks as been doing some drilling but no dampness or drilling near water pipes.

5 AnswersOther - Computers1 decade agoDo I need a separate Tube ticket?
I have a train ticket from Birmingham to Kent. The journey involves changing in London, taking a tube and then another train. Will I have to buy tickets for the tube when I get there, or would that be included in the Birmingham/Kent ticket? (bought through the Train Line)
Thanks for any help.

Does a child have to attend the nearest primary school to their house, or if the parents prefer one a bit further away, can they apply for a place there?
1 AnswerOther - Education1 decade agoGood place for a holiday in UK in late February?
Can anyone recommend a nice place in England for a young couple with a 2 year old child to have a week's holiday in late February? They like walking, sightseeing, food, animals, shopping. Obviously the weather is not going to be brilliant so somewhere with undercover things would be best but NOT a holiday camp.
They would prefer it to be within a three-hour drive of London.
7 AnswersOther - United Kingdom1 decade agoWhere are my emails going to?
If I send myself an email from my own computer, using Outlook Express, it never arrives in my inbox so where is it going to? I used to be able to do this, and also to send photo to myself from My Pictures. If I check my inbox on my server's website, they are not there either. Sorry if this is a thicko question, but it's puzzling me.

The video starts, and then I get the little circle of moving dots in the middle of the screen and the music cuts out, this keeps happening all through the video. Is there something wrong with my computer, or does this happen to others?

4 AnswersEnglish Football1 decade agoDog on the loose in the street?
A man living near me keeps his large (rottweiler/lab mix) in his garage and it keeps getting out. A few minutes ago it was running around my road and jumping up people and frightening them. The dog is not vicious but is full of life and wanted to play. I went out and got hold of it and then the owner turned up. He said it broke the garage door and got out then he dragged it into his car and went off. .
The dog is in a neglected condition and it stinks. It was terrified of the owner and pulled away from him.
I am really concerned about the conditions this dog is living in and the treatment it may be getting from the owner. Other neighbours have reported the owner in the past but nothing has been done.
Any ideas what I could do? I am in the UK.
