  • Need to help a friend with a drug addict nephew and how to handle?

    My friemd has a nephew who is now a drug addict. Arrests, stealing, hard drugs. Parents seem to enable him by, picking him up from rehab, making excuses for his behavior, allowing wrong things to happen in their home. They love him but not changing anything in their home. By not changing, his drug use and behavior is out of control and the extended family has had it. Most do not want to be around the family anymore - very stressful and he cnat be trusted. How would you handle a situation like this? Wnat would you say to them?
