  • I work full time, but own a small business providing makeup services. Which tax forms should I complete?

Full time job is for a corporation. The makeup services business is something I run on my own under my own name for things such as weddings, engagement photo, proms, etc.

  • How should I respond to my landlord's demands as they are false?

My landlord has been sending me letters about having a second pet (I only have one which I have complied with the pet policy) in my unit. They are telling me I have to complete the Pet Addendum for this “second dog" and pay the $250 deposit plus are charging an extra $35 per month pet fee to my account. How do I respond to this? I don't have a second pet. They are threatening if I don't that I am in violation of my lease. I also do not know how this accusation came about; they only state in their letter "It has been brought to our attention".

I feel like they are trying to harass me because I have had to get the regional manager involved regarding maintenance issues the management failed to take care of for months. I have less than 3 months left on my lease. I just want to be left alone.

  • The diamond in my mom's wedding ring fell out, what's the best solution considering the ring won't come off?

Due to her medications that make her fingers swell, we can't take the ring off her finger. So now she has the prongs that held the setting sticking out and it just looks tacky. Is there any way to fix the ring?

  • Mildew in bathroom, chipping paint, thinking of repainting.?

The ceiling and upper parts of the walls in my bathroom are covered in black mold/mildew. The paint has chipped and peeled, but doesn't fall off on its own. However, it's hard to clean without getting a paint chip shower. I would like to repaint, but don't know how to go from A to Z. Whats the best way to strip this peeling paint and what paint can prevent the mold/mildew from coming back?

  • I was asked to be a bridesmaid, the bride rescinded, now should I even attend the wedding??????

I am the best friend of the groom. The bride asked me to be in her wedding party. I accepted. Last weekend she let us know that the dresses would be $700 and we had a week to pay in full. I spoke to the groom a few days later. He wasn't even aware of the dress price until I said something, and yet he's paying for everything (current NFL player). Knowing that most of the other girls would not be able to afford such an extreme amount, he called her and tried to talk some sense into her. Basically, she started a text war with me asking why I didn't say something to her (note: I met her 7 months ago and have only been around her 3 times total). Long story short, after the text war seemed to end amicably, I get a text from her around midnight stating she decided (without discussing with the groom) that she no longer wanted me in her wedding party. I'm somewhat bitter, but I love my friend (the groom) to death. Should I even attend the ceremony (which is in another state)???

  • I'm a bridesmaid, the wedding is 5 mths away, and the dresses are $700! Has the bride gone overboard on us?

I understand the tradition of the wedding party paying for their attire, but some people don't even pay $700 for their wedding dress. I think it's really ridiculous to ask us to pay that much for a dress and see no problem with it. She notified us on a Saturday that she made her selection and told us the money was needed in full by that same Friday. How do I deal with this, or should I opt out of being in the wedding party??
