Since I hooked up the converter box, I had to disconnect the tv antenna from the back of the vcr/dvd player, now I cannot use my dvd/vcr player.

Is their any way around this so I can use my dvd/vcr player? Please help! I miss my dvd player.

Your knowledge would be very grateful.

Since my husband bought our converter boxes and got them hooked up we still have problems with some of the local stations losing the signal.

Such as one local channel I know we will not receive until after June 12th. But what is strange is we picked up this channel once and was able to watch it a few days then it went away and we have no signal now at all.

I just have my doubts about this set-up and what is being done to people who cannot afford cable or satellite. Is this one way to gain control of what the government wants us to see over the airway's?

Is this justice? for another person such as any rep of a state or even country to take away from the poor and cause them to suffer more because of there greed and selfishness.

Yet the government can go spend thousands on their pet projects and charity just to get a tax write-off for themselves.

Yet! they don't want to be charitable to the poor. So where is mercy for the poor one and the ones who are sick and cannot help themselves due to their disabilities?

They didn't want to be this way and besides some where born that way and just don't know why someone would want to treat them this way.

Isn't this robbing the poor and giving back to the rich?

I know one day there will be justice for the poor and they will be shown mercy. For the scriptures said those who are not merciful will not be shown mercy.

So in the near future as the scriptures tell us the the meek will inherit the earth and the wicked will be cut off from it.

So those who seek mercy after not showing any to his fellow man, will not be shown any for himself.

The wife is on disability as well and is not able to work anymore.

Is she entitled to her husbands check for the remainder of her life? or does she have to give it up?

I can start to move my pointer around and start to click on something and it suddenly jumps to somewhere else.

What is causing this and what can I do to correct this?

Which brand is the best made and has the best warranty?

I want to invest in one that has both features if possible.

If you have epilepsy? Does your doctor take time and set down and talk to you?

Does he allow you to voice yourself without butting in?

Does he only talk to your spouse and not seem to listen to what you say?

Tell me what kind of doctor treat's his paient that way anyway?

My husband is taking Dilantin,Lamitical,Depakote,Keppra, and another drug for deppression.

I have noticed more aggitation,nervousness,arguementive,ect.,ect.

It seems that even his personionality has even changed, his moods,negative thinking and so on.

Does all this medication cause all these problems? Does it have a affect on a person's attitude as well?

He is so hard to get along with most of the time and sometime I just don't know what to say in fear it may agitate him and he will blow up at me,it doesn't really take much sometime.

But I don't always know when these times are and have no way of knowing!

Any suggestions and honest one's from personal experience would be very grateful!

Why do people say I'm a christian,wear a cross that represants suffering of Jesus Christ and go and kill their neighbor because they are not of the same race,color,ect.ect. or disagree with what they believe in?

I have even seen these people in gangs wear the cross,who do they represent? The ways of Satan,do they not?

So who is the true follower's of Jesus Christ?

Who would Jesus today say is his friend? And what would he now think of those claiming to be "Christian" ?

Didn't Jesus say that not everyone saying lord,lord will be saved,but the one doing the will of the father?

So why do people keep resisting the truth? and allow place for satan to control there lives?

The scriptures say: Jesus told his disciples to look out that no one misleads you.

For many will come on the basis of my name and mislead many.

Like today some men are already claiming to be Jesus Christ just as the "True Jesus Christ" foretold would happen.

The bible speaks of the sign of Christ's presence,the last day's.

I feel that the generation that we are living in right now are the signs of the days that Jesus spoke of do you not agree?

Matt.24:11-speaking of false prophets will arise and mislead many.

The child has been living with the grandparents since he was around 5 or 6 yrs., really most of his life and he has a disability and has to use a walker to get around cause he has cerelbel palsey and has to have physical therphy often.

The parents divorced and the father got custody and the mother doesn't see him much at all and the father don't have a lot to do with him.

The grandfather now has guardenship, but the boy's checks are still going into an account that has the boy's name and the father's name on it.

His sister is the one that is living at home and with the grandfather and has never bn married,so the boy has been given to her to raise along with the grandfather and was asked if she get's the check to help raise the boy and she said no cause the dad needed it more.

She is very ill herself and has many things wrong with her health,she is dibeitic,and has heart problems,asma,herina's,ect. her health is getting worse by the month and the dad stills control her at the age 53

I am a female and my hair keeps getting thinner and thinner everytime I wash my hair I get a brush full and it is falling out on my cloths as well. It is coming out at the root area and the end of the root tip is white in color! What can a person do other than use rogain?

Any advice from someone with experience will be helpful!

This father is a very dominating father and his older son who has a seizure disorder since he was young and the father dislikes him cause he will stand up to him. The other brother who is 12 yrs younger and a sister who is 6 yrs younger will not stand up to the father cause they are scared of him and there ages are 46 & 52 the sister has never bn married. The baby brother can race motor cycles and drive cars ect. & the sister can drive. But the older son cannot due to his disability.

As soon as the older son turned 18 the father told him to leave and get a job,he did but no one wanted to keep him because of the disability he had. So he had to wind up moving back in with his mom & dad,cause he didn't have anyone else to turn to for help.

Then his mother died and after a few month's he kicked his son out again and he doesn't even call him or talk to him, nor does his brother or sister cause they do what that old man say's cause that's what he wants. The father is 84 yrs old.

I need some answers on how to go about getting a small donations for up to about 1,000.00 dollars for helping a needy person that is living on property that has no electricty and no car, no way to get wood for the wood stove to keep warm and he cannot afford to pay the high price of propane. Besides that the propane tank is so old it would have to either be replaced or fixed and I don't know if it can.

He is living in a mountian area in northern california and the owner of the property lives in florida and he doesn't get down in that area often so he let's this person stay on the property in this old trailer and pay's the owner 200.00 a month.

I only want to help him get some wood delivered to him for him to keep warm and get him some hiking boots.

He says that a cord of wood runs about 200.00, it's really hard for a person like that that don't have any transportation. He cannot afford a vehicle and the upkeep of one. This person is 63yrs old and has a disability & get's S.S.I ck

I know I have an anger issue at times and can be abusive at times. And I'm seeking help with my depression and trying to stay in touch with family members,but all I get is someone making excusses to avoid me instead of trying to talk things out.

I always say I'm sorry about anything bad that I have done and tell them I love them and I don't see any response back. I've turned my life over to God and excepted Jesus as my savior and the family members know this but they still don't give me any credit or want to accept me.

I have always had a problem with seizures since I was about 7 yrs old and been taken advantage of in school and by so called friends and other relatives. My father never would talk to me about my seizures and have the other family members not tell me what I did when I was in a seizure.

They have kept other things from me as well and have even lied to me. My dad has always favored my younger brother cause he can do things I cannot do and this has hurt me.

sister-in-law has type 2 diabetes and has foot problems. She has gotten bliser's on one foot and now they have dried up.

My question is will she wind up having to have her foot removed or what is the chances for successful treatment? Plus what can family members do to help?

I found it's hard to find healthy food that I can eat since I cannot chew some foods without any teeth due to gum diease. I've never been able to get treatment cause I could not afford it and medi-cal don't cover this kind of problem. I have a physical disability and I cannot walk a long way and it's hard to diet.

I my wt is 167lbs. and would like to lose about 15-20lbs. if someone can help me find a healthy diet and keep my wt down also I would be most grateful,thank you.
