I turned my laptop on today and it started to boot up and got as far as the client mac addr, spat out some numbers then tells me a disc read error occurred! So i did what it told me to and ctrl+alt+del to restart and it got to the same point and died again!!! Does anyone have any ideas on a way to fix this problem? I dont have the money for a tecnician and I need this computer for my job and it has about a weeks worth of info on it that i desperately need and if I dont get it working ill end up with a WHOLE lot less money!!! Please help! If you could give me step by step instructions i would really appreciate it!

The day after my carrier store closed my iphone 4 wont turn on completely!!! It gets as far as the apple screen then siezes and wont go any further. Ive tried resetting it and nothing!Has anyone had this trouble before? If so how did you fix it?

For some reason my itunes keeps doubling up certain songs in my library so when i sync my phone with itunes i end up with 2 or more of each song in my ipod! Does anyone know how i can delete all the 2nd songs in one go rather than one by one? Or stop them from doubling up in Itunes to start with!!?? Please help its driving me crazy!!!!!!!!!!!

I have an old computer that im giving a friend and I was told that i needed to uninstall windows then do a full reinstall. How do I go about this? Can i use a thumb drive or does it have to be disc?

I have heard there is a non invasive way of modding a nintendo wii to play games from the harddrive. Does anyone out there have links to instructions on how to do this or can explain it to me? I am only wanting to do this as my daughter knocked the console off a tv unit (the console was 4 days old at the time!!) and whilst it still works, every time i try and play a game off a disc the disc ends up scratched beyond recognition!!
