my ex boyfriend, told me he hooked up with another girl, and found out about a month after hooking up she tested positive for genital herpes. I asked him if he used a condom, and he said yes but it broke. He said he hasn't seen any bumps, lesions, sores on his genitals but is very scared that he may have it. he has a doctor's apt in a week but the wait is painful. So I am just looking for answers for him. Is it a definite that someone WILL get genital herpes from someone who has type 2 who doesn't show they have an outbreak?
