Why are people so focused on....?
Abortion??
I am NOT looking for another abortion debate. I don't particularly care what your views on it are. As far as I'm concerned, you're entitled to think whatever you want... (just don't expect me to agree lol)
But why ARE people so stuck on it??
I mean, the situation in Congo makes me cry. It's horrific, so was the situation in Darfur. People are being raped and killed just for being in the way of the army - many of the victims are women and children. And none of the "pro-lifers" ever mention it!! They are fixated on the "plight of the unborn" and Obama's "baby killer" status and "the rights of the fetus."
Not saying you're not entitled to a stance on issues. Far from it. But jeeze.. there are soo many other human right's issues out there... why not focus some energy on that? Why not work on an issue involving real live people, not hypothetical future fetus'??/
I mean, did I miss something? Like I said, I'm NOT looking for an abortion fight. I just dont' understand the focus on abortion when there are so MANY other problems out there...
7 AnswersGender Studies1 decade agoWould you ever consider having an affair...?
I posted this over on the dating board and got no responses... I'm curious what ya'll think...
This is hypothetical. NO ONE is really doing it... it's just a discussion that came up the other night..
Would you consider have sex / a relationship with some one who is married, engaged, or otherwise taken? Assuming both of you understood it was not leading to a perment relationship - that it was just a fling.
Why - why not?
