I don't want my father to walk me down the isle when I get married. I would rather have my best friend do it.?
The relationship between my father and I isn't that great. It's not like we've disowned each other or anything.. He just has a tendency towards thinking gross actions are funny and I just don't want that ruining my day. ( My sister is in agreement about this. He walked her down the isle and agrees that if she had to do it again she would have walked down the isle herself). I don't want to hurt his feelings, but at the same time I don't want my day ruined.
19 AnswersWeddings1 decade agoWould it be cruel for me to have a cat a put down by a vet?
In less than two months I have had to take him to the vets to have his bladder unblocked. This last time he actually had kidney stones. From what the vet told me the cat has a history of blockage problems. (I inherited this cat) He won't use a litter box. I already have a male cat in my house and all they do is fight. Placing him outside has not worked either. He's never been outside before and runs back in any chance he gets. I'm more concerned with the trama of having to be unblocked then on antibiotics for 10 days. The problem has been going on for a while from what the vet said. The SPCA's in the area are full and weren't keen on taking him with the health issues even though I offered to do the angel program ( you donate so much money towards the animals adoption).
9 AnswersCats1 decade agoWhat information do I need to have on hand when signing a contract for nursing care? Such as assets, etc.?
On the phone they were asking me about assets, and insurance and things. Does anyone know where I can get a checklist for this stuff. I've searched and searched on the net and can't find anything.
1 AnswerLaw & Ethics1 decade agoWhat would you do with a cat that is peeing everywhere?
I recently brought a new cat into my parents home at the request of the sick owner. The owner is more than likely going to have to go to a nursing home.
Unfortunalty the cat has a history of bladder infections and shortly after I brought him home he had to go to the vets for treatment. He has been back for about five days and has started peeing on everything. My bed, the floors, my recliner, just everything.
I also already had a male cat in my house and he keeps attacking the new cat. (both are fixed and they're around the same age). My only option right now is to take the new cat to the SPCA. No one else can take him in. I'm worried that he's not going to have a chance to get better because my cat is CONSTANTLY fighting with him. If anyone has a better suggestion on what I should do aside from the SPCA ( our SPCA is a no-kill shelter) or taking back to my relatives house alone and going down to feed him everyday I'm all ears. He's a sweet cat aside from the pee. i feel :(
6 AnswersCats1 decade agoBoth parites in a divorce are incompacitated. How does the divorce get finalized? Do the POA's have to sign?
They're both placed in nursing homes.
There is already a wage attachment to one parites pension. Are the POA's the ones who have to sign for the parties now? What if you know that the one party wouldn't want the divorce to happen
1 AnswerMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoHow can I get two male cats to get along?
They are both male and around the same age, both are fixed. The new cat has only had my uncle around him. My cat has been around a small dog, kids, etc. How can I get them to get along and how can I help the new cat adjust to the move and being around lots of people and kids. They're also both around 5 years old. any kind of info will help.
