Does this sound like Randal P. McMurphy? 10 POINTS!!!?
You don't have to read the whole thing, just skim it over if you'd like.

Dear Journal,
I don’t see the point of this, but Nurse Ratched insisted that I do it. Actually, she insisted that we all do it. Everyone here at the ward. In fact, she’s standing behind me right now as I write, watching every movement of the pen. She says it’s supposed to be for therapy or some crap like that.
Well, I guess I should write some story about my life, or maybe write down something that’s bothering me, ‘cause the Nurse here won’t leave me alone. Hmm… where can I start…
I don’t feel like writing down my life story. Screw it. If I have to write, I might as well write about my time on the ward.
I’ll start with the ward itself. No one here can function, and when I say that, I’m not talking about the Chronics or the Acutes. I’m talking about the staff. Nurse Ratched, all them other nurses, the doctors, and just everyone that works here. Want to know why, journal?
Because it’s a democratic ward.
And you know what? That’s a load of bull. This ain’t no democratic ward. It’s a dictatorship! The dictator? Our very own Miss Ratched, of course! I can see it. All the other nurses? They’re afraid of her. EVERYONE is. She controls this ward. But she’ll see. She’ll never control me. I’m going to make her crack. I hope she’s going to read our journal entries. Ratched, if you see this: just you wait!
So, moving on from Ratched, since I still have to keep writing, might as well write about how else I feel about the ward. Well, the people here aren’t that bad. It may be a place full of loonies, but that doesn’t mean you can’t gamble here! Money here isn’t a problem. Honestly, this ward is pretty fun. I like to get on everyone’s nerves- particularly Nurse Ratched’s. I mean, come on- we all know the reason I’m here, don’t we? I’m no psychopath- or am I? According to everyone’s definition of a psychopath, I am. But how do we all know it’s not an act, hmm? How do we know if it is an act?
Just the life of Randal P. McMurphy.
I’ve still got some time to kill writing in this thing. What to talk about… ah, I see Chief Broom right there. I’ll talk about him. You know what I think?
I think he’s not deaf and dumb, like everyone says he is.
They can’t see him like I do. I think it’s all an act, like me being a psychopath (or is it an act? Haha…). He’ll open up, soon, I’m sure.
Well, time has run out. Miss Ratched’s yelling at all of us to write our final sentences, and put our pens down. Now we’re going to have some dumb little discussion about what we wrote. I’m sure that’ll be fun.
Signed,
Randal P. McMurphy
2 AnswersBooks & Authors1 decade agoHow do I send this in the mail? 10 POINTS!?
Alright, so, I'm a teen and have never sent anything more than a card in the mail. I'm sorry if I sound dumb, but I've never done this before.
I want to send this in the mail:
http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t120/brinazarsk...
Cute, right? Lol. So I need to know... what do I put it in? One of those orange envelopes? If so where do I get those? And how many stamps will I need? It's going from New York to Arkansas... yeah. I kind of want it to go first class so it'll be there quick, so how do I do that? And where do I get stamps? I mean yeah there's the post office, but do I just go up and ask for stamps...? Can I get them else where like Rite Aid or something? Because I haven't seen them anywhere else.
Sorry, I must sound REALLY dumb lol but I've never done this before... help?

No matter what I do, I can't post in the Parapsychology section and I've wasted like 20 points.
Help?
1 AnswerYahoo Answers1 decade agoPsychics, empaths, anyone... would you say I'm still an Indigo/Crystal?
I don't know. I don't really believe in that stuff anymore, or spirituality, or religion, I've become pretty apathetic.
I'm an open-minded skeptic, but everything just sounds like a fairytale now.
I've been told I'm many things, sometimes an Indigo, sometimes a Crystal, sometimes both and sometimes neither...
you tell me.
9 AnswersParapsychology1 decade agoWhat mental disorder could this be?
I don't really believe in fun or happiness or sadness, I think life is so boring and the only point of living really if just to live and make more life, and nothing more, I generally feel pretty neutral towards anything- not loving, not hating. Just neutral.
I'm not depressed or anything. I'm not even suicidal. That's just how I view everything... it's pretty weird.
5 AnswersPsychology1 decade agoDoes the type of volunteer work you do matter when applying to college?
Well, my friend and I are going to be doing volunteer work that helps the environment. We were also going to volunteer at a hospital, but like... I have a hospital phobia. I'd rather volunteer at a library...
So, does it really matter? If I volunteer 80 hours at a library or 20 hours at a hospital, is there a difference, or is one better or is it all the same to colleges?
3 AnswersHigher Education (University +)1 decade agoJust because you can see it doesn't mean it's there...?
Just because you can see a star doesn't mean it's there.
Just because you have an NDE doesn't mean there's an afterlife.
Just because you have a spiritual experience, witnessing God, doesn't mean it's real.
2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhat page is this quote from Animal Farm from? (Last page)?
"No question now, what had happened to the faces of the pigs. The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which." I'm pretty sure it's the last page/last line lol, but we're doing a project and we already returned our books. The person wrote the quote, but not the page, so... anyone reading it wanna tell me what page it's on?

1 AnswerBooks & Authors1 decade agoWill being in my school's art program help me get into Harvard/an Ivy League/any college?
Well, my school has different programs. I switched into our school's art program late, meaning I have to take extra classes. I can't switch out now.
If I had not switched to the art program, I would've gotten out fifth period like all the normal Seniors, but now I'll be getting out the same time as all the Freshman/Sophomores/Juniors... not fun. Same schedule length for all four years.
Now I'm starting to regret it a bit. Yeah, it's fun, but it's extra work. Will all these art classes look good on my transcript and give me a higher chance at Harvard/Ivy League/perhaps colleges in general? I really would not like this to be a waste.
I already know what the Ivy Leagues want and I know that this alone is DEFINITELY not enough and I'm doing all the other stuff, I'm just wondering if this helps somehow.

1 AnswerMathematics1 decade agoAtheists... an experience I had when I was younger, and people having these experiences... what do you think?
Alright, before we go into anything- I'm Agnostic. So don't call me crazy and don't tell me there is no God and that I'm an idiot. My personal belief is that there may be a God, there may not, we'll see when we die. I also feel that Atheists saying "There is no God, you're stupid." is no different than Christians saying, "If you don't take Jesus as your Savior, then you're going to Hell." So yeah.
Anyways... the experience... two, actually, but the first one was probably my biggest.
When I was about eight, nine, my mom said my great grandma Agnes was in this angel doll I had. Of course she was kidding, and at the time I had been praying for my toys to come alive, which I don't think my mom knew about. One time, she threw the doll in the shower, but I saw it in a different way- like slow-motion, spinning background, but the doll clear, like in a movie. A little crazy there. I freaked out, lol. But that's not the biggest thing yet... I'd always question the doll, "Agnes, are you in the doll?" I never got an answer.
But one day, I got an answer, in a whisper, in the most beautiful, out of this world voice, I swear to you- "Yes." That was it. It wasn't in my head, I was imagining it- I actually HEARD it. Like in my ear. And felt it. It was really amazing... never happened again.
Any explanations for this? Again, I am not making this up. I am personally a very skeptic person, and I don't think my brain could really just make me hear this. I'm just wondering if this can happen but it's maybe rare, I never hear voices like this or anything.
You can stop there, that is the one I am most curious about. It was a really huge thing for me, but if you're interested, you may read the second one.
Around the same age, I was forced to say the rosary for my Confirmation class. It was very tiring, but in the middle of it, in the doorway of my room, I saw a golden light with a picture of Jesus.
Why do I consider the Agnes one more significant? It felt so powerful. I MIGHT have been seeing things with the Jesus one, maybe imagined, maybe not. But Agnes? I have no doubt what I heard. I just want a possible explanation, please.
And I've heard of people with experiences like these... but from all different religions. I'm a huge theorist/philosopher... whatever you want to call me. I think that this could possibly mean that all religions are true, or that our own belief is real for us because maybe we are our own god and we go where we created when we die... Idk. But my other theory is... the people believe so heavily in these things, that their brain creates this experience... but I don't understand how mine would... blah xP
Helphelphelp? :3 I'd like to hear your thoughts, no negative comments, please <3
