Hello, my name is Adam and I'm kind of going through some second guessing on my career choice. I was looking for a few opinions from some experienced individuals. Well, I am currently attending Owens Community College with the intention of getting my associates in Networking and Information Systems Support (AAB). I do know the computer field isn't quite "booming" like it used to be, and it is hard to say if it will ever be booming again. I've had a major interest in computers for many years and enjoy trouble shooting and figuring out any problems that come my way with them.

I do hope I am making the correct life choice for myself. I am currently paying for my school fully by myself with the help of student loans. It scares me to death thinking about graduating and not being able to find a job. I wouldn't know how to pay these loans off.

Honestly, any opinions, comments, or help would be great. Thank you in advanced.

Hello, I just started a community college this summer and found a perfect degree for me at a local University and had a couple of questions about it. I recently got out of the chaotic mess they call ITT Tech, and wanted to be sure I don't put myself into another situation like that again.

I've read quite a bit into a bachelors degree in Information Technology at the University of Toledo. It seems to be the best fit for me. I know the working world has changed a lot in the last couple years and the IT field is no where near what it used to be. I was just looking for a little feedback if it's still a steady career choice, and if there are still jobs out there today.

I'd appreciate any input, negative or positive. Thanks!

I really just want to watch the Tigers play, but of course every game is blacked out... Someone told me you can use a proxy site to get around this? I'm not so sure if that would work. If anyone knows a way to get around this I'd love to hear it.

I work at a restaurant probably 25-35 hours a week, and I wear these shoes everyday. The smell is terrible when putting them on, and when I sit down I can smell them also. I've never had this problem before, and it's not like my feet are gross or anything. I've purchased these odor blocks that I can put in my shoes when I get home, but that still does not work at all. I've even tried Febreze and shoe spray.

Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, I'm currently looking into getting my Bachelors degree in Information Technology at the University of Toledo. I would be taking the more Business side of IT which is from the College of Business and Innovation at UT. I was curious of how well this decision is? I've recently had a horrible education experience at ITT Tech, which led me to withdraw because I felt I wasn't getting the correct education; nor was my degree from that school going to be respected in the working world.

Hello, I am soon going to be attending Owens Community College for 2 years to get most of my classes out of the way. After 2 years I plan on going to the University of Toledo to obtain my Bachelors degree in Information Technology with a minor in Business. I was wondering how important the CAC/ABET accreditation is? Is this going to leave me left without a job? Should I change my major?

I've recently been looking into the Information Technology major at the University of Toledo, and it seems very interesting to me. I love working with and on computers and I am very driven, focused, and patient when it comes to learning about them. I was curious how the jobs are looking in this field? I don't want to waste 4 years of my life getting my Bachelors and come to find out I can't find a job. Any feedback is helpful.

I was currently enrolled into ITT Tech and just finished up my 3rd quarter. After reading horror story after horror story of companies not even accepting a degree from that "joke" school, I decided to withdraw. I do have loans left over that I do have to pay, and have nothing to show for it. I just couldn't continue to go to a school and not get me moneys worth, so I just cut my losses.

I'm now going to get a real education at a REAL accredited college. Starting next semester I'm going to start enrolling into the University of Toledo and getting my bachelors in Information Technology.

Did I make the right choice?

I'm currently in my 5th quarter at ITT Tech and enrolled in the CNS program. I've recently been reading horror story after horror story of this school. I've read comments that I can relate to, and are very true. I've also read that a degree from this school is not very respectable in the working world. This scares me to death because I've already paid a ton of money to go here. My parents are helping me with the costs and I'm afraid to bring this topic up since they've already paid half of the costs. I'm going to contact a local university and few community colleges tomorrow to see what would be better for me financially. Any feedback would be great.

I've been dealing with this all week. I've started Matt Ryan every week and he hasn't really let me down and I'm afraid if the one week I bench him, he will go off like he did last week.

I'm not completely sold on Palmer yet but he's going up against a dreadful Minnesota defense, who just lost their top corner.

In all honesty I'm not liking this trade very much. Vick is very injury prone and just not looking as promising as everyone thought. Also Hakeem Nicks is pretty consistent and I'd hate to lose out on somebody great like him.

I think I picked a pretty decent team this year, I will admit I took some risky picks like taking Sidney Rice. But overall not bad in my opinion.
