I currently have a Palm Treo 650 phone, but I am considering upgrading to the Droid Intercept. Is there a way to directly port my data over from the old phone to the new phone? I would not want to re-enter my calendar, contacts, memos, or to do lists.

We know that riding instructors sometimes have to do some funny things or say some funny words to get a point across to their students.

In one of my answers recently, I talked about my riding instructor who had me get on all fours, she straddled me and 'rode' me and that's how she taught me the aids for shoulder in. In worked very well, but it sure felt silly at the time.

The silliest thing I ever heard an instructor say was Karen O'Connor telling a student "I don't want you to look like you are shoving a donkey up a ladder." I really don't have any idea what that means, but it sure is funny, and it seemed to be what the student needed to hear.

So, if you are a student, what is the silliest thing your instructor has ever had you do or said to you and did it work?

Can anyone tell me an easy/quick way to randomize clip order using Pinnacle Studio 11?

I have tried using the "Smart Movie" feature, but when I tell it to "create smart move," it tells me that 'smart movie has failed' without giving a reason.

Does anyone have any experience feeding dehydrated alfalfa? This is new to me.

I've been trying to add just a slight bit of weight to my Dutch Warmblood. I tried increasing his grain and his coastal hay rations, but he won't eat all of the coastal. So, I reworked his feeding plan to take into account feeding some alfalfa to see if he would finish all that. I used the feeding plan guide in the Pony Club A manual to account for the calories, protein, calcium, and phosphorous that he would need. The feed store was out of standard bales of alfalfa, but they did have this dehydrated alfalfa. I had never heard of this before, but I figured it was worth a try.

Now, the dehydrated alfalfa is supposed to be more compact and nutrient dense than standard alfalfa hay, but the bag has no feeding directions, and it does not tell me how many pounds of the dehydrated would be equivalent to the number of pounds of hay needed according to the feeding plan.

Does anyone know if there is a standard conversion factor or equivalency factor I can use to calculate how much dehydrated alfalfa to use? For now, I am introducing it slowly, but I need to know where stop increasing the ration.

Does anyone have any good counter canter exercises? My horse does flying changes so easily that we are really having a hard time getting the counter canter. I could use some good exercises to help with it.

I just returned from a four day eventing clinic. Since my horse tends to get very heavy on the right rein, the clinician suggested using a bit burr on him for some amount of time to get him to lighten up on the right rein. I don't usually like to try out equipment that is new to me without some guidance, but since it was a clinic, she did not have time to get very specific with me on it's use. I'd like to hear from anyone who has experience using a bit burr to get a better idea of how to proceed. Specifically, I need to know how to tell when to take it off. Thanks everyone.

I have an upcoming clinic with Karen O'Connor that I am very excited about. I have never had a clinic with her before. Can anyone tell me what her teaching style is like? Is she really technical? Does she have any pet peeves that I should avoid? Any information on what to expect would be great.

I know that its a precursor to laminitis, but that is not the aspect I am interested in. What I really want to know is can hindgut acidosis be deadly in itself? What are the symptoms of hindgut acidosis? If any answerers could please cite sorces or post links to articles, I would appriciate it. Thanks.
