  • How long after your period did you get your BFP?

My last period started on Feb. 11 with a little spotting for 2 days, slightly heavier on Feb. 13 and full force on Feb. 14. We had plenty of unprotected sex during the month, especially around the time when ovulation should occur (although ovulation tests from earlypregnancytest.com did not show a dark positive for ovulation).

    My cycle history is:

June 2009... ended birth control (nuvaring)

    July 13 CD1 (24 days)

    Aug 5 CD1 (27 days)

    Aug 31 (28 days)

    Oct 22 (26 days)

    Nov 19 (29 days)

December - extreme high stress month where I spotted/had period for about 2 weeks straight, but truly started period on Dec 22. (34 days (but spotting had started Dec 12)

    Jan 18 (28 days)

    Feb 11 (25 days)

    March (33 days & counting)

Now, it is March 15 (33 days). On Friday (day 30) I had lots of cramping in the abdominal area. There was a bit more cramping Sat, and less today and yesterday. Queeziness, yes, but just a little. Sore breasts? no. Pregnancy tests... all have been negative (I have taken 5). I have also had to pee quite a bit. Headaches? yes, but I have also been attempting to cut down on the caffeine. I think I saw a slight spotting last night (like 1 drop) but have not had any more since.

Do I still have a chance of being pregnant, even with all these negative tests (including this morning)? I go to my general doctor in one more week, and if I haven't had my period will get a blood test.

  • Medicare Question - Does medicare supplement cover chemo?

I read on the medicare website that Medicare A or B pays for all but 20% of chemo costs. I signed up for Supplement J which I think covers the most. Will J pay for that 20% that medicare A&B don't cover?

We are getting out of the Medicare Advantage program because it is so limited on the doctors available.

  • My dog is not feeling well today?

My Maltese (12 lb) has been acting wierd the past 3 or so days. First, he got his haircut at a different petsmart 1 week ago. It was super short, and I also worry that he walked on the floor in there. (I saw her put him on the floor.)

I have tried to keep him warm, but sometimes he is found shaking.

We traveled one night overnight to my parents house this week (stress for him during car ride)

He has been shaky for days, and then started eating grass the other night. Yesterday, he was acting very calm, not really wanting to get up to go outside. I cooked him a couple scrambled eggs for breakfast, and again for dinner. He seemed to be feeling much better thru this morning. This afternoon, he threw up a few times, but stopped and has been quiet since. I did get him to eat another egg, and to drink some. Is there anything else I should be doing?

  • Is Nature's Plus Source Of Life Red Liquid Mixed Berry a substitute for real vegetables?

My hubby is a bit hard-headed about the foods he will eat. He tends to really dislike veggies. He is 100 lbs overweight and does not eat his veggies. He takes Nature's Plus Source Of Life Red Liquid Mixed Berry as a supplement every day, and when I ask him to eat veggies, he says that he drinks his Source of Life stuff and that counts for all the nutrition he needs. He does exercise.

How do I convince him that he really does need to eat veggies/fruits? I am not skinny myself (about 50 lbs overweight) but I do try to eat veggies and exercise regularly. I want us to both be healthier, but it is hard to get him to try new foods. What should I do?

  • Is it OK to use my computer printer to print our return address on wedding announcements?

We are sending out a formal announcement, with a photo. We were married in a small ceremony.

If the announcement is coming from our parents, do we use our address? Do we put our name on the envelope?

  • What companies hire independent producers for Insurance & Financial products (already licensed)?

I am a financial adviser/insurance agent with Series 7, 66, Life & Health. I want to quit my job so that I can work from home, and want to find a company that I can work for part time. I plan to sell, but I do not want to have minimum production requirements.

What would be reputable companies that I can work for?

Is it normal to pay them for keeping my licenses active? How much?

  • How do we each save a game for Pokemon Platinum?

My fiance & I both have our own DSi, but we share games when the other isn't playing. Can we each have our own saved game so that I don't mess up his game (and vice versa)?

  • Are there any non-smoking casinos in Vegas or Atlantic City?

I would like to go on a trip to Vegas or Atlantic City. I enjoy gambling on occasion, but prefer to not be around smoking. My destination may be chosen by which location is friendliest for non-smokers.

I am not anti-smoking. I am an ex smoker that prefers to not be around it if I have a choice. Whenever I go to the LA casinos, I get bad sore throat b/c of the smoke. I've been sick lately and don't want to add to it.

  • Can I re-home a dog I adopted from the SPCA?

I adopted a dog from the Houston SPCA. Once it got home, it is not working out with our family and other dog. (She and my older dog got in huge fight) Unfortunately, we have to make the difficult decision to give the dog up.

Our agreement with the SPCA says that we may not give away the dog and that we must bring her back to them.

We have a neighbor that wants to adopt her. They do not have another dog and the family wants to take her in.

What should I do to legally get the dog moved over to them if they decide to adopt her? Will they let us re-home her? I don't want to risk her going back to SPCA to be euthanized if there is a good home available for her.

I know that some people may think I am a terrible person, but I went into this with a good heart, it just isn't working out. Hopefully, good will come out for the puppy in the end. Not every dog works for every person.

  • I'm buying the Nintendo DSi tomorrow, and have never had a DS, what else do I need to buy?

I know that I need to buy games... but do I need to buy any additional items? Do I need a screen protector, particular stylist, or carrying case? I don't want to go spend a fortune, but want to make sure I get what I need. Would a case for DS work ok for DSi?

  • Should we go with a small wedding or larger wedding?

We have been considering our options for weeks now, and just can't make up our minds. Our options:

Small Family Only Wedding & Dinner after: This would be Immediate Family only... parents, brother, sister, and their kids. No friends, aunts, uncles cousins. We would rent out a chapel in a church and take everyone out to dinner afterwords, hopefully find a restaurant with a room where we can have time together with our new combined family and not have to worry about the kids. Cost would be very do-able, even if I decided on hiring a photographer, flowers, dress & dinner... less than $2000.

Disadvantage... There are many people that I really want to include that would be excluded. We both have friends, aunts, uncles, cousins that we would love to have share our day. We cannot invite just some and not all.

    OR

Go with a larger wedding & invite everyone (130 people) The wedding would not be the issue, but the reception would be (as it is the biggest part of the cost.) To feed and pay for drinks for 130 people in Houston would be at a minimum $10000, and we are probably looking more at $15000 - that is for something very simple. I would love to have a party to celebrate and would love to have everyone there.

We could afford either, but it would take quite a bit of our savings. We both work for the same company and have a high probability of loosing our jobs if our company does not change its direction. We are in our 30s and just bought our first home.

  • Which company should I use to insure my engagement ring?

Should I add a rider to our homeowners insurance policy, or should I buy a policy through Jewelers Mutual or another independent insurer? What if I end up having to file a claim on my homeowners, would my premiums go up, whereas if I had an independent insurer, and had to file a claim... would it not cause premiums to go up?? Both cost the same, so the issue is not price. Many thanks!

  • My breeder said that he does not reccommend Rabies Vacinations after age 18 months.?

He said that once the dog gets the vaccination at 18 months, his body becomes immune to Rabies. He said the vaccination can hurt my dog. The law says I have to get it for my dog. I want to follow the law, but I don't want my dog to have unnecessary vaccinations. What should I do?

  • Mortgage Question: What is the difference between ORIGINATION fee and PROCESSING fee. ?

I just got my final loan documents and the lender switched up the origination fee and processing fee by $150.

I thought origination went to points and that processing was to the lenders pocket. Is this accurate? Thanks!

  • Is this a violation of privacy acts?

I called for an insurance quote. The agent created a quote and I asked for a full sample contract so that I could compare policies. He scanned it in to e-mail it to me. Somehow, he ended up accidentally including another client's policy information (name, birth date, policy number, dollar value of home, etc.) He e-mailed me the file, and told me to disregard the client's information. I immediately felt uncomfortable receiving this information, as I would not want MY information shared with another person. Is there a violation here? (per his e-mail to me, HE KNEW that the info was scanned and still sent it because he did not want to take the time to re-do.) What, if anything should I do?

  • How safe is an in-ground gas grill?

I just bought a home that has a pre-existing gas grill in the backyard. Is this safe? is it better or worse than a regular gas grill? I've never seen this before.

Is it possible to replace the top part (the cooking part) while leaving the base as is?
