A cat that looks to be in its late kittenhood wandered into my garage last night. It is very very skinny. It ate a bit of my cats hard food I gave it and offered it some water but it did not want any. It has been about 12 hours and it has not eaten any more. I am not sure if it is just not hungry or if there is problems with how skinney it is.It is a super friendly cat so I do not think that it is feral.

I am about to make a trip to the pet store and need suggestions for the best kind of food to get it.

Ok, my dog has been throwing up all day. It is usually green (possibly because he has eaten some grass). I don't know of anything he could have eaten to make him sick. It is mostly liquid since he has not felt like eating. He is not particularly lethargic. He gets up and walks around fine he just has a sad look on his face.

Now before you say I should take him to the vet I would love too. It is sunday and my regular vet is closed as well as all the others nearby. To make matters worse it has just snowed a ton and I don't think I could make it to an emergency vet. He is not acting strangely other than throwing up so I think he will be ok until Monday.

So do you guys have any ideas on how I could treat him until I can get him to a vet on Monday?

I am doing a bathroom remodel and need to connect a new plastic pipe for the bathtub drain to the metal pipe going to the sewer. What are the proper steps to do this to avoid problems? Both pipes are threaded.

I am doing a bathroom renovation and have ripped the tiles off of the drywall and plan to put up new tile. I am wondering if I sand the drywall smooth and maybe apply something to the surface if I can use the existing drywall. While taking off the tile it took off a fair amount of the paper but only in a few places is the white powder showing. It is not really a big deal if I have to use new stuff since I have worked with drywall before but I do not have a truck so it makes it tricky to acquire without bugging a friend.

I had my new girlfriend over to my house but she saw my dead dog that I have not had time to take outside and bury and I think she got kind of freaked out. What do I say to her to make her calm down? It has only been there for about three days so it does not stink that bad or anything. She has not been answering her phone.

Is it weird to dress a small tree I have in my back yard in clothes and pretend it is my mother?

Are they trying to fill a void in their own sad life? Do they need some king like figure to obess over?

Ok, I have a doberman that just LOVES the company of other dogs and grew up with a boxer that my room mate had but now that we have parted company my doberman has been very bored and despite taking him on walks every day is still bugging to give him attention all day (and it is not like he is a deprived dog since I work from home and am there almost all day).

So I am in the market for another dog that will hopefully keep eachother company. I am hoping to for a dog on the small side since I do not have a huge yard but it must also be a sturdy dog since my doberman likes to roughhouse.

My cat just came strolling into the house like nothing had happened after being gone for almost a week. It was totally unlike her to be gone that long. I have been stressing over the thought of her in danger or being dead. I am pretty releaved. I feel a little bit offended too because right after she ate she acted like she wanted to go outside again.

How long has your cat been gone only to show up safe and sound? Where do you think they go?
