2 AnswersReptiles7 years agoshould I get a ferret?
I have done lots of research about them.
I know they need shots every year
>need lots of love and time out of the cage
>I know they smell really bad and how to help prevent it
>the food that they need to eat and that they need more protein than dogs and cats
>dog food and cat food can be really bad for them
>that hard food is better for their teeth than canned food
>all the medical needs and the cost of it
>I have lots of time at home to spend with them
>I have a dog and a cat and that some ferrets are good with other pets and some aren't
>giving lots of baths will make the smell worser
>I have family members that can take care of the ferrets when I'm sick or gone for a while
>I know about spaying, neutering, and descenting
>they love to chew things and get into mischief, and love to hide things
>I know a vet if anything goes wrong
>they may bite or nip your fingers, toes and so on...
>the cage needs daily cleaning and the hammocks need weekly washings
Should I get ferrets?
Can you guys help me decide?
I can't make up my mind.
And if you have any more information that I need to know or any bad or good experiences you had with ferrets I would love your help!
